Supima Cotton Blanket
The perfect extra blanket
I now own two of these. My son took one to college and swears it's the best thing ever! I just got another one for the house. It's the perfect blanket on warm summer days, and also as an extra layer in the winter. One thing I recommend is that you wash it before using it. There is quite a bit of lint that comes from the blanket when it's new. After a few washings, the lint will be gone completely. It will feel like butter next to your skin and the blanket will be well worn from then on.

Beautiful but truly awful blanket
I bought the navy blanket for my son to take to college because the nice length is good for dorm beds. I read about the lint the blanket creates and so I washed and dried it 6 times as soon as I received it. I took enough lint out of the drier lint trap to make a small throw blanket. My son just finished his first semester, took home the blanket and begged me to buy him a new one because it made is dorm room so dirty and linty that he had to wipe the blue dust off his dishes before he used them. If I can find my packing slip I am going to return this beautiful, soft, AWFUL blanket.

This blanket is the worst blanket I have ever purchased.
I definitely agree with the review given by Truffle of Southern California. My husband ordered this blanket and it is the worst blanket we have ever owned. We bought the navy blue one and I have had lint and dark blue dust over my floors ever since we put it on the bed. I use a Swiffer several times a week on the hardwood floors and the lint that comes up is absolutely disgusting. It has been washed and put in the dryer on numerous occasions. My husband is an avid fan of Land's End Clothing, but this blanket should be pulled off the market if you want to keep your good reputation for quality products. It was not worth the money we paid for it.

I hate this blanket
I've had a lot of nice cotton bed blankets and this is nothing like my previous ones. The lint and dust coming off this thing just doesn't quit. I have washed it according to label directions several times and I still can't sleep without my nose getting itchy from the lint. It leaves white dust all over my bedroom furniture! In addition, it is very heavy feeling, it pills easily, it stretches too much, and the diagonal pattern looks ridiculous if you want it to be the top layer on your bed. I've had it a few months and I can't take it anymore - it's going back. Not worth the price at all! Can't believe it has such positive reviews.

We ordered two of these blankets based on the reviews from this site. We prefer nice bedding and I admit that while skeptical at first, my wife and I both were very pleased with these blankets. They feel so soft and go very well with our sferra sheets. Sure there's some lint in the first few washings but that is no big deal. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that prefers cotton blankets.

The Best Cotton Blanket You Can Buy
I have three of these blankets and just ordered a fourth. This isn't your usual cotton blanket. It is substantial, but not too heavy, very silky in feel, generously sized, and wears beautifully. I have two for my bed and two for the guest bed so that you can adjust for the temperatures during spring, summer and fall. These blankets are very sumptuous, luxurious feeling and you will want to throw all your other inferior blankets away! They really are that nice and you will not regret ordering this blanket. I highly recommend them.

Best Blanket You Can Buy
I'm picky when it comes to blankets. They're usually too short (I'm very tall) and sometimes too thin (most just feel "cheap"). This blanket is THE BEST I've ever found. I purchased one a little more than two years ago and have used it frequently in my living room for napping on the couch and getting cozy while watching movies. My friends saw the blanket during one of our movie nights and now argue over who gets the Lands' End blanket. I just bought a second one to add to my bed (for a little extra warmth during the winter months). The blanket is soft and has just the right amount of weight (not too light, but not too heavy either). I've washed mine six or seven times and it holds-up beautifully (wash in cold water and use a good detergent like Cheer or Tide with NO fabric softener; dry on light heat with your favorite dryer sheet). The first three or four dryings will produce TONS of lint, but do not fear; the blanket comes out strong and warm and looks as good (or better) than it did as a new product straight out of the packaging. Take care not to snag it because the weave is loose and it can be picked (just trim your toenails and all will be well). Even though the blanket is amazingly soft, it's not fragile, and it's not "fuzzy." It's a great gift for young professionals (perhaps as a housewarming or college graduation gift ? this blanket isn't something you'd give to a child) or to give as a classy and very practical wedding gift. The quality is well worth the full price, but I recommend waiting for the "40% off" sales with free shipping. One of THE BEST products Lands' End carries!

I've had this in king on my bed for over a year. Washes well. No piling. So soft. I layer with a quilt as I like a heavier weight. Much softer than other blankets I've bought that we're not much cheaper. Highly recommend.

Summer Cotton Blanket
I shopped in both department stores and online to find and purchase a superior quality summer cotton blanket. I have cats, and they like to sleep on the bed, so I launder my blankets often. This blanket is a wonderful addition any summer bedding. The fabric is lightweight but substantial. The cotton material does not shrink, but I do wash it using Woolite and a cold water setting. I am so pleased with both the quality and the color. I highly recommend this blanket for use during the summer whether the nights are cool or while using air conditioning.
