Solid Oxford Bedding
Signature sheets at Blanket and Spoon
I am delighted to report that we haven't had a guest yet that hasn't loved our sheets. Many of the guests have asked where I got them and I gladly share Landsend with them. We have two sets for each bed; but still the sheets get quite the work out. They continue to wash up beautifully and are comfortable in warm and cold weather. My ONLY wish is that the ends didn't wrinkle like they do..but, hey, they are pure cotton and I wouldn't give that up for a few wrinkles. The tiny buttons on the pillow cases never go unnoticed and add a touch of class to the sheet set. The real testament to the fine quality of these sheets is this...we use them on our bed too! :)

We have a 12" mattress and these sheets are a very good fit. The top sheet goes to the floor at the foot of the bed. The top sheet could be a tad bit wider but it is okay. We love the feel of these sheets. Not too hot or too cool. A bit scratchie & wrinkled to start but each washing makes them softer & less wrinkled. They are a nice weight not flimsy. They don't stretch out as you use them. I'm buying more.

Lovely and soft, but not crisp
These are fantastic, quality sheets. They are very soft and get softer with washing, but (to me) they are not crisp. In my opinion they fall somewhere between a percale sheet and flannel. They are fairly substantial weight-wise and we love to use them in the fall and spring as transitional sheets. When I think of a crisp sheet, I expect it to feel crisp and cool to the touch. These are not that, but just soft and inviting. They do wrinkle a lot, so expect to live with that or iron the pillowcases and top hem of the flat sheet. Love them anyway!

These sheets are indeed well made , and they will last for many years . The fabric does become softer and softer as it gets washed , though it's not as soft as an oxford cloth shirt . They are generously sized , the stitching is solid , the fabric is thick and durable . Washing in hot water didn't affect the sizing like it can with other brands .
This isn't the first set of sheets I have purchased from LE . I also have the 5oz flannel in two colors , and before that I had a set of the black and white toile print sheets . (no longer available) All of the sheets I have purchased through them have been above average in quality.
Unfortunately I had an unfavorable skin reaction to either the fabric content or the fabric texture . I gave them a good because they are an excellent product , jut not for me .

The BEST sheets I've ever had
I love these sheets! I received them as a gift and have been using them for over two years now. They're thick and soft and hold up really well to repeated washing. They're not overly warm for the heaviness of the fabric-- they're a good weight for both the summer and winter.

Love these sheets! Great quality and the poppy color is beautiful! Got rid of all my other sheets and will only use these from now on! Can't wait to get another set!

Fantastic. Worth the money.
Not sure who said these were not soft or well made, but we love them. Looking to buy another set. Highly recommend.

Substantial sheets - love them!
I've paid a lot of money for high-thread-count, 100% cotton sheets from a variety of places and have been very disappointed. Manufacturers simply do not make the heavy, cool, crisp cotton sheets that people of a certain age remember from our childhood. My husband and I are very sick of slippery, flimsy cotton sheeting that threatens to fray if you roll over. Since my husband loves his oxford cloth shirts, I decided to give these a "go" and thank heavens I did. We both really like them. They are substantial - a much heavier and tighter weave than most of us are used to. I bought them in white and blue and both are lovely. I love the button detail on the cases - the pillows really stay put. Yes, they come out of the dryer a bit wrinkled, but I fold them carefully, smooth out the wrinkles, and they are perfectly acceptable to use when I finally make the bed. (We just had guests in the queen room and I did not iron the cases.) I have used them on our king pillow top and on a queen bed with a 4" memory foam topper in our guest room. Both fit wonderfully.

The quality has been cut in every way
i purchased these sheets to replace some Lands End oxford cloth sheets that we had for years and loved. What a disappointment these new ones are! The fabric is still stiff after repeated washings. They come out of the dryer so wrinkled that I have to iron the pillowcases before I put them on. And the flat sheet is barely long enough to tuck in on the sides. It seems the quality has been cut in every way. As a long time Lands End customer I am surprised and disappointed.

Softest, best sheets ever!
These sheets are exactly what I've been looking for. The heft and hand are outstanding. If you like the feel of Oxford cloth, you will love these sheets. Even before I washed them, they were perfectly soft. I know they will only get softer with more washings. These did not have the button detail, but I was glad because I can only imagine a little button on the pillow case would be annoying. I bought two sets and I will definitely be buying more!
