Solid ClassMateŽ EZ Wipe Lunch Box
Really sturdy, easy to clean!! Recommend!
I bought 2 this year to replace the earlier version when, after 4 years, the inside lining wore out. The newer version is far, far better! Previously the lunchbox had some sort of coating which would come off. Now the lining is part of the fabric of the lunchbox. Easy to clean, no tight corners and no wear so far. The lunchbox feels roomier than the previous one so easier to get things like insulated food bottles in there. Heavy duty handle and so far is coping really well with being rough-handled by 2 sons each day! One thing that I always appreciate in the hard sided lunchbox is that nothing gets crushed - no smushed sandwiches or fruit as in the softer-sided ones. So, well done Lands End!!

agreed with previous... best lunch box
simple to fill, simple to clean, simple to store, simple to carry.
I love this lunch box for my son, he loves it as well. I would say the best feature is the ability to wipe it/wash it out easily thanks to a connected/seamless construction. Dries over night and viola, ready to pack again.
I use two small freeze packs, a glass water bottle, a square glass container, aluminium foil wrapped sandwich, and small brown bag- all fit!
I'm ordering another before LE discontinues, I see my son carry one for a few more years, and naturally all lunch boxes, even the great, need to go...

Best lunchbox I've found
The is an OUTSTANDING lunchbox. After 6 or 8 soft-sided lunchboxes that have ended up smelling like mildew or spoiled milk within a few weeks, even after scrubbing, air-drying, sun-drying, bleach, vinegar, and laundering, I am so thrilled to have found this! It's simply brilliant. Why hasn't anybody else thought of this? Land's End has hit on a gold mine. Not only is it super-easy to clean (with no mildew!), it's very roomy (important for my very hungry 5th grader), and prevents his food from getting crushed or smashed. This is the first lunchbox I've found that can accommodate a hot food thermos along with a drink bottle and the other lunch items. Hooray for that. And so easy to clean! Did I mention that it's easy to clean? With no stinky mildew?
My only complaint is that they are sold out! After a month of school, I had to throw my other son's soft-sided lunch box in the trash because milk got between the layers of the lining. I want to buy another EZ Wipe for him, but I can't. Boo. (Like I said, gold mine.)

WORTH it's price!
THis is the best lunch box to date. The sturdy sides keep it from crushing in on the food and it's spacious. It can easily fit a 6" sub plus snacks and a yogurt cup with room to spare. I love the mesh lining under the cover for lunch money, tickets, or reminders to eat! ;-) We got the matching backpack in blue with orange accents and I'm thrilled with the purchase. They will last for years.

Love this lunchbox
We've only had it for a week or so, but I love this lunchbox. It's sturdy and I LOVE how easy it is to wipe out.

So easy to clean! And sturdy!
I bought this lunch box because my son is notorious for leaving half eaten containers of food open in his lunch box for me to discover... this is so easy to clean & I love the hard sturdy sides (nothing gets squished!) I imagine this lunch box will be lasting us for a few years!

Order Sufficient Quantities in Future
I only recently received the Lands End back to school catalog, and was very surprised and disappointed to learn that these lunch boxes are already sold out for boys - before the promotional period has even expired. Clearly, insufficient quantities were ordered for this season. As a long time customer I am sorry to report that I will now be shopping from Lands End's competitors to meet my sons' back to school needs. This has been a frustrating experience.

A rare find!
This is the only lunchbox I have seen that has a rigid liner inside. It is SO much easier to clean and fits quite a lot of items. In short, I love it. I need to get a new one now though due to more than one applesauce spillage (my son's fault, not the lunchbox), however am disappointed to see that all the boy colors are gone. Hoping they get more in soon!

I don't want to think about how many stores my boys (Grades 4 and 7) and I trekked through, looking for lunch bags. The criteria:
1. Big enough for the food it takes to get these ravenous wolves through the afternoon;
2. Narrow enough to fit in their backpacks so they don't have to keep track of a lunch box in addition to their gym bags, instruments, and gloves/hats/sunglasses/whatever;
3. Zippers and compartments placed so the food doesn't tumble out when you plunk down to eat; and
4. Neither a sissy color nor plastered with Hello Kitty, Minions, or Cars characters.
(5. Mom's request: Easy to clean.)
These bags exactly fit the bill, and with the sale LE was running, were no more expensive than the Ninja Turtles junk we saw at Target. We got the black/yellow and the blue/orange. Now if we just had a few more weeks of summer before school started, everyone would be smiling.
