School Uniform Short Sleeve Oxford Shirt
Nice fabric and fit, washes well &doesn't need iron
Good quality uniform shirt, nice fabric is soft and washes nicely. Our school just switched to Lands End for uniforms this year and these shirts are an improvement fabric-wise...color-wise not so much, the pink and yellow are too dark and saturated, not a pastel which my daughter prefers, so she just got the blue and white.

excellent quality good fit
School uniform fits well and excellent quality. Second year ordering never has to sew on a loose button shirt did not fray. Color lasted did not fade.

This is the perfect uniform shirt.
It fits as expected. And the materials is not too stiff. And the color is really nice. Only problem is that I wanted to order more and the size that I needed was unavailable.

This shirt is very nice but the buttons are very small and very tight button holes. They are hard to manage even for a 10 year old.

White Oxford Girls School Shirt
Washes well; custom stitched monogrammed logo is excellent quality

Couldn't ask for a better fit. The tapered darts give a feminine cut, rather than the boxy cut of the uniform shops.

Found the right fit
My daughter has used these shirts for several years as the fabric and durability are superior to other uniform stores we've tried. Last year she wore a side 14, which is now a bit tight. I was afraid size 16 big kids would be too big, so I measured her and she was between sizes for junior. I ordered one of each: girls size 16, juniors size 1 and size 3. All 3 fit, but the size 3 fit her nicely with a bit of room to grow, vs. the size 16 which was big and boxy, although it did fit. Also, the junior sizes are longer. The guidelines for sizes are accurate for these shirts. If your child is tall and slender, consider the small juniors sizes instead of the large kids. And the larger kids sizes are more amply cut if you need that. Now I will return the 2 shirts to Sears and am ordering 5 more in size 3.

Great alternative to uniform store shirts
We have worn these for the past year, and I have read all of the reviews posted on this site. Here is what I can tell you about our experience:
1. Fabric is best on the market. Everything else requires lots of ironing and isn't nearly as comfortable. My daughter stains everything and ours are still just as white as when we bought them.
2. They are well-designed to fit a petite/average child. If your daughter is husky, these are not the shirts for you in regular cut. That said, I love the fit because it isn't skin tight (which most decent schools will not allow anyway) but it is slightly more feminine than what you find at a uniform store or boy's shirt.
3. My only wish is that the collars were button-down. I have to sew the collars down each year, but I know that every school has different requirements and Lands' End needs to stick with what works.
4. I do agree that an inch or two longer would be very helpful, but as I order shirts for this year, I really hope I am not disappointed in the "larger, overall" measurements. If a child needs "larger overall", go husky....don't mess it up for the kids who are at an appropriate size for their age.

love the fabric of these shirts
i am a petite adult woman and i love the fabric of these shirts. i add more darting to slim the fit and transform the sleeve to a cap sleeve (slightly tricky) and wear these shirts everywhere, especially for travel. even with the alterations, they are less expensive that other brand no-iron shirts.

Although the shirt is great:
Love the shirt; the way it fits my little one, however after a few washes with Clorox to remove stains and keep them white, they turn yellowish.
