School Uniform Girls' Solid Cable Knee Socks (3pack)
Been buying these for 8 years!
My daughter has been in private school for the 8 years now and knee socks are required. The first year I purchased several other brands and they didn't last long as they either pilled, the elastic gave out or they ended up stretched and misshaped. Lands End knee socks are excellent and good price for long lasting wear. Over the last 8 years these socks have retained their shape. never pill and the elastic, at the end of the school year, is just good as it was on the first day of school. If your school uniform requires knee socks I strongly advise you to not to purchase other brands, just buy these and you'll be glad you did!

Cable knee socks
I've been looking for this kind of knee high socks long time, until I found them in Landsend. They feel very soft and good material. Even it says 'girl' but I got them for my son. They are suitable for girls and boys. The elastic bands hold up well.

As many reviews - we are all usually purchasing te socks due to a school uniform code. Well, these are the tightest non-giving socks. i tried the XL on my 10 year old daughter - - I think these are only for say 3rd grade and under otherwise they are just too tight. I was disappointed there was not a size for the middle school grades

The socks are nice but too tight to put on.
We bought these XL socks for school uniforms. While they fit nicely once on, they are harder than panty hose to put on. They are very difficult to get over the ankle.

These socks fit like a glove
These socks hug my daughter's legs comfortably. They stay up, no sagging, but they aren't too tight! No imprints on her legs! She loves them and she is very sensitive to clothes that feel uncomfortable!

Quality cotton, knit sock
The bit of Lycra in this sock helps it stay up. They're not magic, of course, so occasionally at the end of the day the sock will have slipped down to the mid-calf. Overall, this is a great purchase. So far, no holes or tears. Not too tight, either, so my 5 yo daughter has never complained once about the elastic at the top of the sock. Shoes still fit great and aren't too tight while wearing this sock. I purchased the white and the navy colors. Navy color stays true wash after wash. Elastic does not stretch out, just as LE states. You can trust Lands' End products 100%.

Don't hold up after one wash!
They were faded, pulling and pilling after one wash according to package directions! I returned navy ones but resolved myself to having to wash the white and cream ones on gentle. Even on gentle after a few washes they are doing the same. Poor poor quality. What a shame

could be taller
I would like to see these socks offered in a long style. My daughter is 13 and has long legs. She will need to wear knee socks through high school with her school uniform and these socks don't even come up to the knee area. Bummer.

great uniform socks
Bought these as part of my daughter's uniform. The sizing is accurate. She has not started wearing them yet so I can't say how durable they are but they feel like they should last the school year and keep her legs warm.

Socks Fray Around Heels and Calves, Holes that Run
Last year, I bought many of these socks for my daughter. She is very light on her clothes, and only wore them for school. By the 4th washing, short threads began coming out mostly around the heels and backs of the socks--obviously, around areas of friction. Not a very high quality weave, but the elastic stayed in shape and they are not misshapen. Just a ton of loose threads and three of them sprung a hole that ran down the sock after only a few weeks!
Not buying these again.
