School Uniform Girls' Knit Wrap Jumper
Daughter loves this!
This uniform part is one of my daughters favorites. It is comfortable and doesn't tend to wrinkle.

This jumper is perfect
I just love the soft texture and color of this jumper. It was at such a great price that I bought some for this year and the next size for future years.

My daughter likes this jumper and says that it's comfortable. It seems well made- thick and sturdy but soft at the same time. I'm happy with it.

This dress fits nicely and runs true to size. The buttoned straps make dressing simple. The textured fabric washes well.

This jumper is soft and just the right fit. Ordering a second one. Was not too lose or too long for my kindergartener. I measured according to the guide for size. The knit peter pan shirt looks great underneath and is super soft. Well worth the money for comfort and a good fit.

Good quality...but not the right fit for my Kindergartener
I was surprised that my daughter didn't like this jumper, which I chose for its soft and stretchy fabric. She claimed that it's "too straight." I guess she was hoping for more of a flared skirt. We returned it, though I think it would be a good choice for other kids.

okay, not my favorite
I have mixed feelings about this jumper I can see how it is nice especially for preschoolers to have such a soft flexible jumper made of knit cotton. However, I would not order this again--for me it didn't hold up that well. Partially this is the nature of cotton knit, rather than poly blend, of course there is a trade off. But dd's LE cotton polos held up way way better than this jumper, and were worn more often too. They didn't pill, this did. They didn't have stitching come out, this did. We had one in khaki and it showed its age much more quickly than any of dd's other uniforms items, from LE or elsewhere. It started to look pilled, stitching came out along the neckline early on (I probably should have returned it, as I'm sure LE would have been accommodating, but I just don't have time for stuff like this during the school year as I work FT also--I need stuff to work the first time!), it didn't release stains as easily, though we did get them out with work. Fit was okay, the kind of shapelessness added to ease and able to get it on/off, but overall, just okay. For us definitely not the rave that other reviewers seemed to experience. YMMV.

Fantastic Pre-K / K Jumper
My daughter had three of these jumpers last year for pre-k. In my opinion they are much better for 4-6 year olds than the zipper back jumpers. These are very soft, stretchy, and roomy for polos, shorts, or tights underneath. This makes them perfect for this age group because teachers often have the kids sitting on the ground and moving around a lot, playgrounds etc... And just in general this age group needs clothes that are comfy. Also, she couldn't handle a zipper jumper at this age but could get herself dressed in these. Also easier for the bathroom at school. I washed these on a weekly basis for a year in cold water and damp dry. They never shrunk and material still looks great. I do iron them and without ironing they are a bit wrinkly as any cotton is. Just depends how picky you are on that. I never had a stain problem ( oxy-clean worked on every stain my 4 year old could manage). The only negative I would say is the navy blue does fade a bit after a year of weekly washing. So a year later I am back to order more of the same for my now 6 year old entering Kindergarten.

I had high expectations for Lands End quality, but the knit fabric shows its age after 3 months of once-a-week wear and washing. The navy color has faded, and a peanut butter stain on the front did not come out with pre-wash treatment (we sewed a pocket over the stain and still wear the jumper). The fit may be slightly large, but it's difficult to say for sure because I bought a slightly larger size so my daughter could wear it as along as possible. I would not choose a knit fabric for a school uniform jumper again. (In contrast, the softer knit for Lands End polo shirts is wearing very well.) The cut and style of this jumper are nice.
