This is by far the worst product I have ever bought from Lands End. It is made of a very flimsy material, and it doesn't hold its shape or colour at all. I wash it inside out in cold and lay it flat to dry, it's already so faded I don't want to send my son to school in it, and we're not even a month into school yet. My daughter has a sweater from a different supplier and it is 1000x better. I wish I could order his through them, this one simply doesn't hold up, especially for the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Schueter Pretty much what I expected
It is a very good looking sweater- pretty much as described. The only concern I had was the size. I had been ordering the little kid large for the polos and thought I should order a size up for the sweater. I ordered big kids small and it's shorter and much more narrow than the polos. My son is very skinny and a bit shorter than average for a 7 year old so the sweater will fit him but it won't fit over shirts very well. I thought I was ordering something that would be a bit too big, however. I have a younger son so it will get used. Side note- I ordered the thicker sweater in a big kids medium and it was gigantic for him so I can't really win. Overall, everything will get worn at some point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SonoMom Beautiful sweater that does not lose color wash after wash. Soft to the hand but rugged enough for a teenage boy.
I had to return the Small Adult size for a Medium. My son wears Boy's 20 or small Adult size. East return process and the Medoum is perfect! Not too bulky and hot to wear in the classroom

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mortonn The size chart needs to be revamped. The sweaters run small.
The sweater seemed to be of good quality and the logo was nicely done, but the sweater seemed to fit a 5 yr old and I ordered the sweater for my 7 yr old son. I used the sizing chart, but it was too small. I returned the sweater to Sears.

Rated 4 out of 5 by IrishNYer Very nice, but VERY SMALL!
I am so glad that I read the reviews and ordered a size larger, could have ordered another size larger!! My son turned 4 in June and will be starting pre-K this fall, he is 41" tall and 41lbs. I ordered 5/6 in the mock turtlenecks and long sleeve polos, this sweater is slightly smaller in the chest and length than them in a size 7, the sleeves are an 1/8 longer. I am adding a picture of the size 7 laying on top of the size 5/6. I will not be able to layer the other items under it. With that being said, the quality is nice, just order up a size!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maryplaya Good product, but runs TOO small
I ordered this product for my son, who normally wears size M, but I am returning this one, because this size "M" feels not like 5-6, but more like 4-5. The quality is good, so I am ordering another one in size L now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KL3 This sweater runs very small.
I purchased this sweater in a medium (what my son always wears). Ran very small and returned it for a large. He has worn it maybe two or three times. I have washed it in cold water and hung to dry. It is so short on him now that he can't raise his arms up when he wears it. My other son refused to even wear it because of this reason. I was told this sweater does not come in the tall sizing. Also the logo on the sweater has already started curling up. Not at all pleased with the quality or sizing.

The sweater is nice, but it is short in the body. It will hopefully just hit at the belt of the pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dee3 Too small
The quality is great as described. I am not sure what is going on with the sizing. I ordered Men's Medium (which should have had plenty of room) and it fits like a small. I have to return.
