Looks nice, has a clip on the handle so it can easily piggy-back on backpack. Easy to clean out. Seems to be well made. Plenty of room to pack lunch for a growing boy! I wish it had a mesh pocket on the side for a water bottle though.

So glad to have the wipe-able hard-sided lunch box back! Thank you, Lands End! My son used one of these for YEARS and it is finally time to replace it.One needed improvement would be to add velcro or a zipper to the outside pocket. It is pretty much useless as it is just an open pocket. Extra napkins, milk money, whatever--would slip right out! So why is it there? The old one zipped and was perfect for milk money. It would be awesome if it were just an inch or two taller (like the old one) to fit in a drink and some extra snacks for a bigger appetite, but we like it and are making it work!

We bought another Land's End lunch tote last year and it survived 6 months. It was soft sided and the interior lining ended up with holes. So, this hard sided, wipable box seemed like a brilliant alternative. It's lasted a week so far with little wear. I have a 6 year old boy, so that's saying something! I love that the hard structure makes it easy to dump contents into trash and wipe down.

Overall this has been a great lunch box. My 5 year old likes carrying this box and it is easy to keep clean. I really like the size as I can fit several pieces of the Rubbermaid Lunch Blox kit along with a Thermos. I also like the mesh pocket on the inside to hold after school snacks, utensils, and a napkin.
I do agree with previous reviewers that it is missing a mesh pocket for a bottle. That would make it perfect.
For parents wondering if their Bentos and containers will fit...You can fit the EasyLunchboxes brand boxes (though they don't sit flat) with a juice box or pouch - but not a Thermos or bottle. You can also fit the Rubbermaid LunchBlox Flat very nicely - but no additional items like a drink.

I bought this last year. The only thing it was missing was a mesch pocket for a water bottle. I liked the idea of the easy wipe, so I went for it. Everything was fine until about February. The easy wipe lining started to wipe right off. I called customer service and they offered for me to buy another and they would refund the price. Ummm... a. I didn't want another, it is flawed. and b. There was no selection left in February. I am hesitant in recommending this product. I usually love to buy Lands' End for the year to year usage I get for the price. This was NOT the case with the E-Z wipe lunchbox.

I got this lunchbox as pictured. It was for my kindergartner, whose name is Dallas. Not only did he look great when he carried it to school, but when his kindergarten teacher texted me a picture of a forgotten lunchbox later that first day, it was very easily recognizable!

I shudder to think of how many lunch boxes I have tried. NONE of them have lasted even a full school year before the linings split and odors begin to develop. Soft-sided lunch boxes just can't withstand the handling by children, and the washing and cleaning by parents, that they need to. This one is SO easy to clean, and withstands total submersion in water, and even washing in the clothes washer. Another big plus for me is it's size. I find it very difficult to find a drink bottle that will fit in a lunch box and still leave enough room for food. This was especially true as my oldest son got a little older and started eating like a fiend. This is the roomiest lunch box I've seen. So that child is going into his third year with this lunch box, and I just ordered one for my 8 year old. This box is a little pricey, but so far, it's running me less than $10 a year since it's lasted 3 years so far. I expect I'll need to buy only one more lunchbox in my eldest's public school career! (Up til now, I was buying one or two a year.) Don't hesitate -- buy this lunch box!

My sons have used their lunch boxes for two years now. The outside is a bit worn and not so very pretty or cool anymore but the inside is still quite a marvel. One son lost/hid his and it came back to us as his name is embroidered on the outside... Still a cinch to clean up... How can Land's End make them more acceptable to middle schoolers, I wonder...

I purchased 2 LE EZ wipe lunch boxes in August of 2013. My son has taken his lunch in this lunch box EVERY day of school for 2 years. My daughter has taken hers almost every day, also. However, hers has started to come apart where the trim and zipper meet. I called to order another one and was told that I may return to Sears the defective lunch box to receive an $18 credit on my credit card. I am very happy with our purchase from LE and will continue to use this product! Thank you!
