Great Carry-On Bag
I bought this bag with traveling in mind. I wanted to be able to take all bathroom essentials plus any extras needed in case we got stranded somewhere as a family waiting for the next flight. This bag, while a little heavy on its own, is spaced wonderfully for what I need. Lots of pockets to stash treats/drinks/reading that I can grab quickly, while the spacious inside pockets & compartment store everything else and are zipped up & secure. The VERY long detachable cross-over-the-body shoulder strap is great so my hands are free & adjusts to any length I need it. Bag stands on its own & isn't slouchy, which I also like. Fits great under the seat on a plane while storing everything we need to travel.

Great style, however navy color is off...
I love Lands End canvas totes and was excited to receive the "true navy" diaper bag, however the color of the navy is off and doesn't even match the changing pad that came with the tote. The bag's color has a dull purple tint that does not coordinate with any of the other navy items that I have with the stroller or nursery. I picked navy since I thought it usually isn't tough to coordinate, however this bag proved me incorrect. I would love it if the color of the bag was the color of the accompanying navy changing pad. If the color was different, I would recommend this diaper bag.

The bag is a perfect size.
I am a teacher and I was looking for a bag large enough to carry all my paperwork to and from school daily. This bag is excellent. I can carry all my paperwork in the bag and all the pockets hold my items like my classroom keys, whistle and other small items. The shoulder strap is very useful as paper work can be quite heavy.
I only wish it came in red, however I do really like the orange colour. The dark colour on the bottom is great as it doesn't get dirty quickly.

Excellent Bag!
I bought the navy diaper bag for my husband & he loves it! It's the perfect size with lots of pockets and will be able to accomodate all of our baby's growing needs!

Excellent bag, but not one I'll use every day
There's no denying the outstanding quality of this tote/diaper bag. Sturdy, roomy, obviously made to outlast my kids. Problem is, the bag is far larger than I thought it would be, and I think it's just too much for everyday use. The bag is heavy before I've even put anything in it. Since I don't need to tote bottles and formula around, I really need only the essentials for diaper changes, and my own needs. I can see this bag being quite useful for long car trips, and even more useful as the baby grows up. I can foresee using this tote when the kids are much older, for years to come. So I'm not sorry I bought it, but I will definitely be looking for a smaller, lighter, more everyday diaper bag as well. I just wish Lands' End would offer their smaller diaper bags in cute colors and designs. Something feminine and attractive would be nice, LE!

Diaper bag and beyond!
I already own several LE Canvas bags and love all the pockets and D-Ring for keys. This diaper bag also has the INSIDE POCKETS and a CHANGING PAD. Don't know why it's not mentioned in description but its perfect for the first time mom I purchased the bag for. After the baby gets beyond toddler age and the bag is no longer needed for diapers, bottles, etc it can be used for other kid necessities we always carry around! The bag will last for many, many years just like the original canvas bags, I am sure.
