Men's Wool Pea Coat
Haven't worn it much, yet.
I like the fit, the feel, and cut. The nearest thing I have found to the real U.S. Navy Pea Coat I was issued in 1964 and the Navy lost in 1967 (it would no longer have fit, regardless), for a reasonable price (it was on a great sale). Not sure about the part polyester, yet, but we'll see. Even when new, the original could be washed in cold water, gentle and then taken to be pressed - would look like new. I hope this one works out the same way.

Very pleased with the coat. Very good quality and found it to be nice and warm when using it during a recent cold spell. It was a perfect fit except for the sleeves being too long which I anticipated since I always wear a "short" in things like suits and sport jackets. I had the sleeves shortened and now everything is perfect.

Very nice coat for the price
Just bought this coat and to my chagrin, it went on sale today for $60 less :(. However, I am not disappointed with the coat. Very nice style and fits good, albeit the sleeves are a tad long. I'm 6'3", 183 lbs and have a 36 " sleeve length, so I'm OK with the sleeves. I ordered a large tall. The shoulders don't droop and they look like a suit coat. LL Bean has a nice pea coat, but the style of this coat was what appealed to me. Now that it is on sale, it's a steal!

Good Quality Coat
Nice quality coat. Fits a bit snug in the shoulders but other than that is a good fit.

I must say, Lands End makes a fine, fine peacoat. This far exceeded my expectations: heavy weight, good utility with the interior pockets, and a a dash of nautical style with the anchor-embossed coat buttons.
Buy this; you will not be disappointed.

my son loves it
I bought this coat for my son, who is a freshman in college and does not have any other winter coats (aside from his high school letter jacket). He is 5' 9" and about 160 pounds, and this coat in Medium size fits him perfectly, allowing for a sweater and shirt underneath. Most importantly, he loved it, which is a lot to say for a trendy 19-year-old. So, I am happy because of the quality and price of the coat, and he is happy because it fits and Pea coats are back in style.

Even better than the real thing
My Dad had a genuine USN issue Pea Coat that belonged to his father back in the day. When I was in high school, I use to "borrow" the coat from Dad- it was perfect for cold nights in bleachers watching football. 30 years later, when I saw that Land's End had a Pea Coat and that there were good reviews, I bought one for myself. Wow! This coat is better than the real deal- good quality tailoring with many details left out of the USN issue coat. Highly recommend!

Nice warm coat for the winter
The peacoat doesn't have a lot of flaps, straps, or other ornamentation. That being said, it seems to be well constructed and warm, which is really what you want from a winter coat.
I take a size 48L suit jacket, and I got the best fit from the XXL Long peacoat. I can put on an XL Long peacoat with a thick sweater underneath, but it's a little tight for me. I'd say that the fit is a "Midwest" fit: tight in the shoulders, loose in the middle to accommodate a sweater or other "padding". It's not a fitted garment by any means, it's cut to keep your body heat from escaping through the neckhole. If it's seriously cold, just put on a sweater, wrap a scarf once around your neck, put on this coat, and button up the lapels. (Yes, you can button up the lapels. Nice and toasty.) The thin layer of polyester insulation doesn't hurt either. I'm not so impressed by the throat latch. A removable bib would be a lot more useful than the throat latch.

Just received this coat today. In a word: WOW!
Super impressed with:
- button stays for all coat buttons
- pockets lined with durable corderoy rather than flimsy lining fabric
- zipped breast pocket
- button pocket at bottom front
- included clasp for closing the top of the coat (I'm a navy vet, this was a new feature to me!)
Color is spot on. I'm delightedwith this and would recommend it to anyone. My son looks great in it.

A great looking coat. Good Material. Too tight in the shoulders.
I'm 5'6" in height and weigh 175lbs. I usually wear a large in coats. I ordered the large but the shoulders were tight. When I did an upward reach, the shoulders were uncomfortable (tight). I knew I had to return the coat. An extra large would have been to big. A real nice coat but I decided to pass on it. I am still a Lands End fan.
