Good quality shirt
Good quality cotton blend shirt. Has a sheen that I didn't notice in the picture on the website.

Over the years I have purchased for my husband at least a dozen of these shirts in various colors and patterns. The tailoring and material quality, 100% cotton, is comparable to much more expensive shirts. I try to buy them when they go on sale. The buttons are very good quality and they wash beautifully. I do give them a light press with the iron but it really isn't necessary. I especially like that it is possible to purchase patterned and striped shirts with the exact sleeve and collar measurements. Most other brands in patterns are available only as Med, Lg, or XL. Please Lands End don't stop making these shirts.

Fit is hit or miss across different fabric patterns
I want to love Lands End stuff. My experience with their dress shirts is somewhat disappointing. Got 6 of these shirts recently as a gift. 3 in generic American corporate blue, 3 in white. They fit great. Nice fabric, good build quality, easy iron, etc. A good fitting shirt, and I'm tall-- I wear a 16.5x37 Tailored fit. I was so satisfied and must of mentioned it, that my family member kept an eye out for the next sale-- and about a month later ordered me 4 additional shirts, but this time in striped prints, and other (non-blue) solid colors-- in the same 16.5x37 Tailored cut. However this time they fit me like a sausage wrapper. I had the new shirts with me on a business trip and the fit was so different I was certain that the original batch must have been a Traditional (full) cut-- but when I got back from my business trip I checked the tags on the neck and they read the same "Tall Tailored". So, the first batch (generic white and blue) fits great, and the second batch (prints) makes me feel like a loaf of bread snugly wrapped in cellophane. Lessons learned: 1.) don't take new unwrapped, unworn shirts with you on business trips assuming they will fit like the others you bought, and, 2.) apparently, certain colors and patterns WILL make you look fatter-- because there is less of that cloth in the shirt you are wearing.

Buyer beware NOT wrinkle free
If you are looking for a shirt that goes from dryer to hanger without needing to be ironed, this is not the shirt to buy. It is not wrinkle free, it needs to be ironed to look presentable. Returned them both.

"No Iron" is a marketing scam like "one coat" paint. I bought 3 of these shirts. They are not truly no-iron and still require some ironing. On the other hand, they are not sturdy enough to stand up to professional laundering either. I recently experienced problems with small holes appearing in the sleeves, opposite the placket. This happened at a particular cleaners, so my suspicion was (and still is, somewhat) with them. This has not happened at any other establishment. There are many articles online about no-iron shirts not performing well when professionally laundered, and that the fabric has inherent weaknesses due to the no-iron treatment. Of the 4 shirts I experienced this problem with, 3 of them were Lands End No-Iron Pinpoints all bought at the same time. All of them were worn an estimated 6-10 times, and some of those wearings were washed at home. While I am suspicious of the cleaning establishments equipment, I'm not confident in the LE shirts either. I have many other shirts, costing 1/3 of the LE shirts and typically bought on clearance, that never had this problem. I actually prefer a natural cotton shirt without the no-iron treatment, but no-iron is so prevalent now. There is no labeling advising against professional laundering. I don't care to iron, and I like the crispness and look of professionally laundered shirt, therefore I do not anticipate purchasing these shirts again.

I highly recommend Lands End both for customer service and quality as well as value! Better than shirts twice the price

I've like Lands' End no wrinkle shirts in the past, but the finish on this one is different. Very wrinkled right out of the dyer and hard to iron out those wrinkles. Hope my husband doesn't wear it often. I'd return it but no longer have the paper work.
