Rated 3 out of 5 by aquaticsgal just the right color to be seen while walking on the road and fits comfortably
I like the fact that it has a 2 way zipper but it is hard to get it started when you put the jacket on. Nice amount of warmth even though it is very light weight. Lots of pockets too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WiHeathen Purchased and worn by a woman
The 100 weight fleece is like a friendly sweater on a chilly winter day, or a nice layering piece. I often wear men's fleece because all LE women's fleece is "fitted"... that is, tight around my middle, EXACTLY where I do not want ANYTHING tight. The sleeves on your women's clothing are also invariably too short for me, leaving my wrists hanging out. I am broad shouldered and long waisted, I like the extra length in the body of men's jackets too. Not surprised the spring green color I bought was on sale... it is not a color most men would have sought out. That being said... I love it when LE departs from the same old navy/black/khaki/burgundy in men's fleece... gives me options that I see in the women's jackets (that do not fit me!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinypinkies Lightweight and warm and perfect for layering
I am not a stranger to the ThermaCheck products. I had one about 6 years ago. It had simply needed replacing. I love the light weight of the fabric. It allows for proper layering and wonderful warmth. I have seen many reviews saying its like paper. NO, not so, it is made to be lightweight and warm. I checked out the "warmth" factor of the ThermaCheck 100. I have to say, I have worn this jacket, in the past, in 10F alone, and not been cold. I actually can't wait for the cold weather in northern IL! This is perfect, IMO, for those who can't/won't/dislike driving in a jacket. You can be super warm and not weighed down. I just wore mine on quite the blustery/wet Halloween. Love that the collar zips up all the way, almost like having a scarf on...

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dli2 It's a good product, but not what I was expecting.
I was expecting the jacket to be of a heavier fleece. It's very light weight, and will probably do the job. I would not recommend this if you were (as I was) expecting a transitional jacket between early fall and winter. To wear this in late fall, I will recommend wearing a heavier (not cotton) long sleeve shirt under the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mrsjpjp Nice substitute for a hoodie.
The jacket is SOFT, comfortable, warm and the color choices are attractive. Lightweight, but it is warm and cozy for as light as it is. Easy to care for. Jaunders well. Fabric does not pill, like cheaply made fleece. This is great for keeping warm in a chilly house, or taking along as an extra layer on a trip. I just bought my second one. My husband and I were fighting over his, so I bought a nicer color for me. Bonus- zipped pockets!!!!

Fit Is Great, Color is Beautiful, BUT the zipper is broken after only one washing. Really disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NatalieS Husband loved this jacket!
This jacket is warm, soft, and comfortable. My husband, not even remotely fashionable, found this so comfy he put it on out of the bag and didn't want to take it off even after it got too warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by StormTrooper Great 100 weight fleece jacket
If you are familiar with 100 weight fleece and know that it can be very warm and yet not heavy you will like this jacket. The double zipper is a delight. ALL jackets should have a double zipper. (pay attention Lands End). The cobalt blue is very nice especially with the black accents. I think the rich red would be as well and after I became familiar with my jacket I wanted to buy two more for gifts at the sale price. Unfortunately only grey in XL.
Don't let the thickness of the fabric fool you. Light weight warmth is a virtue. If you need protection from more cold and are not into layering, which this weight excels at, then buy 200 or 300 weight. But layering is a travel way of life and otherwise enables you to make any garment more flexible in its applications. If you backpack and ounces are important, buy a half-zip. Otherwise, this jacket is the choice in lightweight fleece. I own several half-zips and may never go back.

the ad does not make clear this jacket is too light weight. It is more like a shirt than a jacket
