Men's Super-T Turtleneck
Not worth it!
Over many years, I've purchased numerous turtlenecks from Lands End. They were consistent: always the same style, fabric, size and high quality. I assumed this year's turtlenecks were the same as in previous years, but this is not the case. The fabric is thinner than in previous years; the size (Men's M) is too small, and the general "shape" is not as before (this one is long, thin and makes me look as though I was stuffed into a sausage casing -- NOT attractive!). I won't wear it. Of course, it's too late to exchange it -- I bought it earlier this fall, and tossed the receipt and the packing material. i guess I'll donate it to the Thrift Shop and look elsewhere for cotton turtlenecks. I'm sorry you changed from a successful (to me) product.

Why the change?
I practically live in Land's End turtlenecks during the winter months.
One of the features I've always preferred is the seamless necks;and now you have done away with them.
I also do not like the change from a tagged inside back to the quickly-facing inked-on LE info.
Now I don't know where to find the kind of turtleneck that I prefer.

Great albeit rather long
This is a great turtle neck. It is a lighter weight so not too bulky for layering and very soft. My husband is a size large but trim so often shirts that fit his shoulders are too big in the middle. This one is pretty good and not too baggy. The sleeve length is also generous which is good for his long arms. I am hoping it will shrink in the length a bit in the wash because then it will be perfect. None-the-less I will be ordering him more of these ones!

Great T-neck t.
The fit was perfect great length in arm perfect fit in the neck. My only complaint is the color selection, I would like more colors. Also to the people complaining about how thin the material is remember this t-neck is used more for layering. The seam in the collar is undetectable and you can't even feel it. I wear the t-neck with the primaloft vest and some cords.

Cost-cutting leads to poorer quality
Having bought Land's End turtleneck sweaters over the past 25 years, I have seen many product variations over the years. For example, while cleaning up some old papers I recently came across a letter I'd received from the company nearly two decades ago, apologizing for the collars in that year's turtlenecks; the collars in those sweaters would stretch but would not bounce back to their original shape. Anyway, you may have noticed that a few years ago, Land's End did away with garment tags on the inside back collar. The move may have saved the company some money per turtleneck, but putting one on suddenly became an adventure, as I was so used to using my fingers to find the tag to figure out which way in the turtleneck was front. This year's turtlenecks have seemingly solved the problem with a dreadful idea: The collar now has a seam that runs across the back. Now it is easy to figure out which side is back, but the seam is SO irritating as it rubs along the back of my neck. I'm guessing, however, that a stitched collar with a seam down the back is cheaper to produce, so there you go. Apart from that issue, however, the fabric seems to be of good quality and the elastic in the collar and the wrists seems fine so far. On balance I think the shirt is "average," but the seam in the collar is so annoying that I don't know I would buy another until the turtlenecks are revamped.

I'm very disappointed in this item. The fabric is thin and droopy, and the fabric at the wrist and the neck stretched out the first day I wore it. There's a bulky seam at the back of the neck. The previous version had a seamless neck. I get the men's turtlenecks because I'm tall and need the longer sleeves. I wanted the same 100% cotton turtlenecks I've ordered in the past, but they have been replaced with the Super Tee. And there's nothing super about them. I, too, bought them on sale with free shipping, so they're not worth returning. I hope they bring back a better quality cotton turtleneck next year.

Great Cold Weather Shirt
The shirt fits perfectly and is very comfortable. It's a cold weather winner - the full turtleneck is very warm and great for outside days. The quality, as always, is superb.

A different kind of turtleneck!
These turtlenecks have a great tailored fit, but without the bulk of conventional turtlenecks. They are quite dressy and ideal for warmer climates or fall and spring weather. If you wear T-shirts in the summer, try these for the colder seasons.

Great fit and feel
I was a little concerned that the seamless neck was gone, making this just like all the other turtlenecks. It may not be as tight around the neck, but it is still a winner. The overall feel is much thicker, and the neck is tight enough, that it's no problem. I still will pick these over any other company's.

Finally, a great turtleneck w/ good arm length
needed a tall, large -- large turtlenecks from the store end up shrinking just enough that my long sleeves end up above the wrist. These wash well, hold their color & have negligible shrinkage -- looking forward to many years of wear. Will definitely purchase more.
