A great mock neck T-shirt for men!
This is the second set of this item that I bought for my other half and he loves it even though he is not the type who likes anything around his neck because he wears coveralls over it. As it goes, he finds it very comfortable, not thick or heavy like turtlenecks would be and for me, it washes well and stays looking nice after numerous washes. Most of all, the price is great and it comes in soooooo many colors!!! Buy it, buy it buy it - NOW!

I have bought at least a dozen or more of the mock turtlenecks for my husband...he loves them and never complains when I buy him more. I believe he has one of each color now and actually two blue and two red. They wash beautifully and probably do not need ironing but "Ms. Iron" is my middle name and they only take a second to finish. Keep adding more colors and I will keep on purchasing them.

I purchased online several of these mock turtlenecks for my husband. He loves this style because true turtlenecks are uncomfortable to him. He likes how it fits, and likes that the sleeves are a good length also. These mock turtlenecks come out the dryer looking beautiful. I set our Kenmore Elite dryer on Casual setting. They also hold their shape over time. Landsend is the only brand that he will wear.

This mock turtleneck is not what I expected from Lands'end.
Ordered three super-t mock turtlenecks and was expecting to get the same quality as in the past. I was wrong! The fabric is much thinner than in the past, not even close to the quality in past years. I am returning them and looking somewhere else.

Fits too large
Have been buying the Lands End Mocks for over 25 years. Yes, the warmth factor has gone away over time and are now the equivalent of a T-shirt. However, this is the first time I have experienced the neck and body being way too large.
I wear a large slim fit polo, but have always bought medium mocks for the snug neck fit and slim body for wear under shirts and sweaters. Am currently wearing a medium 2012 Lands End Mock and it is significantly thicker and has a slim fit. My 2014 Lands End Mocks are in the laundry bag and I hope they shrink enough so I can wear them. The fit in the body is barely acceptable and may shrink, but I don't have much hope for the necks. Will post again if a hot washer and dryer is successful in the shrink to fit attempt. If not, I have four new rags for the garage.
Probably, will order the small size next time. I can't wait to see how they fit. Will probably end a a soprano. FYI, I am 6'2" 185# and wear a 44 sport coat, a 34 waist and have a 16 to 16-1/2 neck with an athletic build.
Lastly, I request that Lands End resurrect the earth tone colors, like the deep greens, browns, etc in both the sweater, turtle neck and mock neck products. Increasing the material weight for warmth would be great as well. However, the current Metro colors and light weight material have limited a significant part or your customer base. Now that Sears Holding has cut you loose, Please return to your former self.
Am not leaving Lands End in hopes that you improve your fit, quality and color offerings. However, in the interim, I am sourcing many items I formerly bought from Lands End elsewhere.

Quality is poor compared to Mock Turtlenecks that LE used to market
The Mock Turtleneck is my VERY favorite item that I've ever purchased from Lands End. I currently have 29 hanging in my closet in various colors. They range from two to eight or ten years old. I take very good care of my clothes. The newer shirts are only a shadow of the older ones. The newer fabric is much thinner and much more flimsy and the collars wear out quickly. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of quality and for the life of me, I cannot fathom how LE could ruin what once was a fantastic shirt. On top of that, the price has almost doubled. I doubt that I will ever purchase another one unless and if LE repents and fixes this problem. Lands End, are you trying to run us away ?

comfortable & warm
I live in Hawaii where T-shirts are the annual outer clothing, for a winter stay in Hokkaido I took some long sleeve T-shirts from Lands? End and this one was my favorite; purchased another when I returned from my trip.

Mock T-Neck Quality
The quality of these shirts has gone down hill. They fit my husband OK but they are of a much thinner fabric then they used to be. They washed well and since they are just for work they will be OK
