Men's PrimaLoft Packable Jacket
This ultra light weight jacket is excellent for chilly spring and fall weather. The fact that it fits into a pocket packet makes it ideal for trips to chilly locales. The charcoal color is fine, but wish it came in the silver frost that my wife has.

Not a good fit
They look good but the fit is weird. Its boxy and if the shoulder is a good fit, then the body is oversized.

Happy I sized up
After reading the reviews about a problem with narrow shoulders, I ordered a Tall XL for my husband instead of a Tall L. The drawstrings at the bottom of the jacket help with the extra bulk in the XL size, so it works. Despite the odd sizing, the jacket is very well made at an excellent price point and does indeed fit into its own pocket to make a packable layer for traveling and hiking. Yellowstone in September! (He'll be the one in blue NOT feeding the bear.)

Read the description and believe...
This is absolutely the lightest weight, warmest jacket I have ever owned! I love it! When I go out and about, particularly shopping and "store hopping" I really do not like lugging a heavy coat around. For me, this one has been the answer! This is the second year for me for this coat, its lightweight, but WARM. It WILL surprise as to how warm it is, for such little weight. Its not -20 Wind chill warm, but believe me its warmth will astound you! This has become my favorite wintertime jacket! (If its -20 or -30 windchill, then I slip on my Lands End 600 Hooded Down filled jacket....but mostly this one stays in my car!) Thanks Lands End for another great product! PS- I sometimes wonder "how" you keep developing products like this one, but as long as you keep producing them, I will keep buying them!

Quality Made BUT Poor Fit !
Bought this at Sears, but didn't zip it up until I got it home. My bad... When zipped, there is a tightness in the shoulders and upper arms which make it useless for anything other than standing still. (The whole jacket rides up if you raise your arms.) It's going back to Sears today.

Incredibly light and warm
My 1st reaction was to return this jacket immediately. It was way too light, and I did not like the fit under the arms.
Then I wore it outside. It is warm. Really warm. And really really lightweight.
Inside stores I did not feel overheated.
Outside, the jacket is windproof and really warm.
Still can't lift my arms above shoulder height without the sleeves coming up to my elbows; but did I mention it was really warm?
You can shove it completely back into the pocket, but I'm not sure why you would want to do that.
Easily compresses in a suitcase without pocket-packing.
I bought this jacket along with a classic squall, intending to return one of them. Wound up keeping them both.

These provide a LOT of warmth for the weight, so is an excellent layering item. We like fleece under it and/or over it. Is also excellent under a rain jacket, or provides surprising warmth all by itself. Is excellent for traveling. Is also great for the ladies. My ladyfriend has the women's version to look cute but wears the men's jacket when she wants to stay warm.

Quality good, fit poor
Don't let my 2 rating fool you, this is a quality item as far as material and construction is concerned. My complaint is the fit. I ordered this item, one for me and one for my son, after having read the reviews. My impression was that they ran a little small. No big deal, I've had to do this before. I normally wear an XL due to my broad shoulders. The XL is a little large in my midsection though. Nonetheless, I figured I'd better order an XXL because of what others had reported on this item. I did the same for my son who has similar build characteristics..
Anyway, after receiving the jacket and trying it on I found something really strange. The XXL fits me like a large in the shoulders, and fits me like a true XXL in the midsection????? Whats up with that? When I put my shoulders forward it even gets tighter yet and the jacket really starts to ride up. Definitely the oddest fit I've ever had. My son found the fit similar to what I experienced.
I've often shrugged off little imperfections in fit, however this was to much to ignore, I'm returning it. Another bummer about this jacket is that it doesn't have any side pockets??? I never had a jacket without pockets before. Oh well.
I'm sorry this product didn't work out for me. The styling is nice, as is the materials and construction. PrimaLoft at this price is a steal. Oh well.
I give it a two, but that's only for me... you may have a different experience with it.

My husband loves this jacket.
My husband is a husky guy and hates heavy bulky jackets, this is just perfect for him. Lightweight and very warm. He has used it almost daily since it arrived.
