Men's Polartec Aircore 200 Fleece Jacket
I really like this fleece, it is nicely designed and the material is very soft.
I haven't really put this to the weather test yet because I only just purchased it. I expect to use it as an adjunct to my other laying items, like under a wind or rain proof shell.

great lightweight jacket
I bought this for my husband as he liked the Polartec Aircore pullover. This is a very nice lightweight jacket that is also warm for those frosty mornings when a coat is too much. It also washes very nice.

As stated in other reviews, the sleeves are slightly tight compared to the fit of the body of the jacket. Overall, very warm under another jacket.
As stated in other reviews, the sleeves are slightly tight compared to the fit of the body of the jacket. Would be a great improvement if the sleeves had a liner to allow shirts to slide inside while putting the jacket on or off. Overall, very warm under another jacket. Not wind or water proof, but better than plain polartec fleece. Great price for a warm layer under a shell.

INDEED POLARTEC 200
I bought this for my husband instead of 100. He likes it of course but too bad no more other colors available in med. size.. It's a lot warmer and thicker than his collection of 100 fleece. Addition on his collection for traveling, vivid colors too. I recommend this to others.

didn't like the styling
Neither one of us saw the stitching on the front part of this jacket in the photo when we ordered it. When we received the jacket and opened the package we both immediately agreed that it wasn't even going to be tried on since neither of us liked the stitching on the front. Our personal opinion is that a smooth front would have been much more attractive; we would have kept had it been less detailed...we sent it back. Lands End was trying too hard to be different on this one and they missed the mark.

Perfect fit, very warm, sharp style
I have to say I'm very impressed with this jacket, more so that I thought I'd be. I was looking at a number of fleece jackets from different brans made from PolarTech 200 fleece, but an ultralight backpacking forum was what made me settle on this fleece in particular.
Everything about it feels light weight. Even zipping it just sounds lightweight somehow. It's lighter than most of my sweaters and definitely lighter than my very warm wool hoodie I was trying to rotate out. I'm 6'5", and the large tall is a perfect fit for me. Since this is active-wear, it's really important that the sleeves stay around my wrists when I do the reach test, and they do. When my hands are at my side, the sleeves stay at a comfortable position, but I can pull them over my knuckles when I'm not wearing gloves and put them in my pocket, adding a second layer of warmth. The hand warmer pockets are great. There's no insulation between your body and the pockets, which means your body heat is warming your hands, which is great. Just keep the pockets zipped when you want to stay cool, or open to vent.
Other's have mentioned the narrow sleeves, and the sleeves are more narrow than jackets tend to be. Since this is a midlayer for me, I prefer that they're narrow so they fit inside my outer layer nicely. However, when I'm wearing long sleeves, it takes some finagling to get my arms inside my sleeve and the shirt sleeves in a comfortable position. Overall, though, I like the sleeve cut.
I'm a little miffed that I didn't notice until now that it had a straight cut on the back of the hem. A straight cut is great for fashion, but a dipped cut keeps the wind out of the back of your pants when you're active. I also don't like that there's no chest pocket. My jacket doesn't have one to cut weight as well, and it's annoying that I don't have one at all. I like the cuffs on the jacket. One thing that surprised me was that there is barely a cuff, the sleeves just end in a quarter inch of nylon. It's a different styling than a lot of jackets.
I'm not sure about their claim of 10 to 30 degrees. Fleece certainly doesn't cut the wind, but maybe it's just been colder than that. I have been wearing it under a down jacket since I got it.
Initially I ordered the green because the black and grey were out. The green was pretty peppy and clashed with my orange jacket, and the black was back in, so I exchanged it for a black. The black wound up looking nicer than I thought it would. The grey zippers and grey inside the collar lighten up the color. When I got the black, I found that the grey was back in stock, but I didn't want to exchange it. I went to look at the grey in the store, but it was hard to tell in the florescent light if it looked nice.
Overall, I really like this jacket, and am wearing it now. I hope it's as warm as they say. I thought about getting a North Face, as those seem to be warm, but the price was right on this jacket and I'd heard a lot of great things. I would absolutely recommend this jacket for going out on the town or active-wear.

I liked everything about this fleece except for the fact the sleeves at the wrist had no elastic or means to keep them somewhat snug around the wrist
The fit was maybe slightly on the large size. I would have liked to have had some snugness at the wrist rather than the sleeve just being open & hanging. Also, an inside pocket or 2 would be useful. The quality of the Polertec was A+ in comfort, warmth & in repelling static cling!! Make changes some or all & definitely would buy again.

Great Product & Stylish Enough for a Freshman
My son is a college freshman. We went for a long hike over Xmas break and i became aware that he needs something like this to layer. He recently told me that it's become his go-to jacket wether to the gym, class or elsewhere, he's getting lots of use out of it.

I would purchase this again.
I bought this jacket for my 15 y/o son to wear in the winter in PA. It fits nicely and has a nice weight to it. He is able to wear it even on the coldest days. The collar comes up over his neck and it is long enough to cover his bottom. It is also very soft.
