Men's Pleat Front Traditional Fit No Iron Dress Twill Trousers
Material is better but need more colors for sizes in long-rise cut
I have been buying these pants for my husband for many, many years and have been disappointed the past few years with the quality of material. This time, the material is a very heavy cotton and seems to be of better quality than in years past. However, the sizing has evidently changed! We had to order long-rise this time which we have never had to do before. I'm not sure why the sizing has changed but it is very frustrating! Because of having to order the long-rise pants, we are now limited to only three colors choices. This is crazy! Please consider making the long-rise pants in soapstone and in a green.

Sorry to see blended twills have disappeared
PLEASE bring back the blended polyester/cotton twills! There was nothing like them for people whose jobs require highly durable, nice looking pants. You had the corner on that market and could have expanded it by promoting the durability of the blend. Please consider doing this!

Bring Back Blended Dress Twills
I used to buy the blended cotton dress twill slacks several times a year because I work in a hospital and they were very durable upon constant dry cleaning, and also because I have a 35 inch inseam and could get them tailored to length. LandsEnd I guess decided to stop producing these, and instead have a new 100% cotton pant. If I wanted pajamas I would buy pajamas! Please bring back the blended cotton twills to continue to get my business!

Better Than BB Advantage Chinos
I've never owned a pair of these Pleat Front Traditional Fit No Iron Dress Twill Trousers, and for the past few years relied on chinos from another well-known retailer.
Although some of the reviews complain that the pants aren't as good as they used to be, I had no basis of comparison since I've never owned a pair.
Based on my first purchase, I am very pleased with these trousers, which offer the "advantage" of being approximately half the price of the brand I previously relied upon for my "business casual" daily attire. The fit is perfect, and the mid-weight fabric seems appropriate for all but the hottest days of the year. The quality is surprisingly high for the price, and I like the metal hook closure plus button rather than two buttons.
The pants are easy to machine wash in cool or warm water, and the "no iron" feature is holding up well. Of importance to me, the pants hold a good crease for at least two -- if not more -- wearings, and look significantly classier than traditional chinos. I purchased khaki and navy blue versions of this pant, and find the colors to be true and work well with my full collection of business casual button-down sports shirts and colorful cashmere or merino wool sweaters.
Most important, I like the way I feel in these pants. I highly recommend these trousers.

Good quality and wrinkle resistant
I have been searching for reasonable priced khaki trousers for some time. I have tried lower priced Chinos and they have been wrinkle magnets. That is not the case with these Dress Twill Trousers. I recently spent close to 16 hours in a pair and they looked almost as good at the end of the day as they did at the start. (My day consisted of 2+ hours standing (speaking), driving, & flying.)
Based upon my experience, I would highly recommend these trousers.

Fitted well except for length, which was as I requested but still a skotch too long. Took up 11/2 inches and now fits well.

These no longer have a proper fit
Despite ordering these in the same size as prior versions, I find that this latest incarnation of these pants does not fit properly. The rise and length are both too short.. They finally got the fly fixed back to a half way decent design, but now the pants don't fit. The length problem can be remedied by increasing the inseam length, but the rise problem cannot be remedied without redesigning the pants. It's a real shame that Lands' End has degenerated to the extent that they no longer make usable clothes.

It's about time
Finally, here's a reversal of the trend, since the company was acquired by Sears, of constantly dumbing down quality while raising prices. These are good pants, well tailored with some of the better details restored. Selection in tall sizes is not as good as before, however, and I'd like to see the stone color available again in tall.

No better than Chinos
Fabric quality is not the same as previous generation of "dress" twill. Couldn't see a noticeable difference in fabric quality vs my lands end chinos. No worth the extra price.

I purchased 2 pair for my husband to wear to work. He really likes them. We ordered both pleated and cuffed and only one arrived that way. No explanation why. He kept both and they wash nicely.
