Men's Pleat Front Comfort Waist No Iron Dress Twill Trousers
Missed the boat by dropping the cotton/poly blend
I have worn LE dress twills for years. You had a nice niche with this product in the blended fabric with guaranteed repeatable sales (me!). I don't get the departure from the blended fabrics. If anything I would seriously consider putting them back in to your line plan and do a better job of marketing them in your catalog and website. Steer clear of the weird colors to reduce your markdowns and go with grey, black, khaki, navy, and olive and you will not be able to keep them in stock. I have yet to find a business casual dress pant that compared to the original dress twill pants from LE and I look weekly! I will not make another purchase from LE until this fabric is reintroduced in to the line. Also steer clear of the old heavy weight blend and go to a 4 season weight fabric and stay with it. In this instance change is not better.

A good change (back)
I tend to buy 5-6 pairs of these each year, as I wear them to work everyday. Last year (2013), Lands End changed the button, material, and overall fit, which was about 5 steps backward and really not iron-free. They came close to changing everything back, but the fit in the pants is slightly different and the material is not completely the same. I would recommend purchasing one pair to ensure the fit in the waist/length is right before purchasing more.
That being said, I returned the first pair due to the waist size, which was very easy, and I haven't found another place where you buy hemmed pants to custom lengths and overall consistency!

A boarding school dream.
With a teen at Boarding school and doing his own laundry , I worried about his ability to stay neat and pressed looking. No worries with the No Iron dress twills. All he does is wash, dry and hang and they hold their shape and color. Custom hemming has helped to keep up with those growth spurts! Thanks.

Why are these pants no longer available in a blended 65/35 material??
This pair of pants fits great and looks great, but why, oh why, Land's End, do you no longer produce these trousers in a 65/35 polyester/cotton blend? These all cotton pants wear out far too quickly, especially on the bottom edge of the pant leg. If I wanted a pair of 100% cotton pants, I could go to any of the local department stores and buy them without paying any shipping. Land's End, you used to be my "go-to" source for all of my twill trousers but if you don't bring back the 65/35 blend, I will sadly have to look elsewhere. Please bring back the 65/35 blended material!

Nice business casual trouser
Well made and sturdy. Washes well and holds a crease. Great for office or business casual.

Dress pants features, chino look
These pants are like stealth dress pants on a business-casual day.
They have all the great features of the dress trousers in a more casual look. The tailoring is like dress slacks - with room for a guy to live (and sit) in them. The pockets are crisp. The fly closes like dress slacks with a nice zip. And the fabric is lighter weight with a nicer hand than typical chino-casual pants. The fabric feels silkier, and has a lovely drape - and at the same time they look like casual pants. They keep this look through the wash, too.
This review is posted by JerseyJane on behalf of JerseyJohn, the guy who wears these pants. I'm the one who orders and washes them - and they come out looking crisp without being stiff.

Bring back the blended twill!!! 60/40 or 50/50
Purchased and worn the former blended twill in excess of 25 years. Always perfect fit, wore extremely well, reasonable price for all the quality. Came in nice mix of colors, always easy to mix/match with almost any shirt and tie and sports jacket. Could even wash them in the tub or sink when traveling if needed, drip dry, light touch with iron and look new. Purchased two pair of the "no iron" (which means chemical infused fabric) and cuffs wore through after about four gentle cycle machine washes, with pockets frayed after a few more. Even consumer magazines have had articles about how poorly "no iron" fabrics wear.
Got it that oil to make the polyester is more costly these days, but it would be worth it for long time lands end customers (like me over 30 years, yikes!) who've left to be able to return and continue to enjoy the formerly great Lands End experience.

Great all around pants
These twills look great. They appear to be much more expensive than their cost. They wash and dry perfectly and hold up for years. I like the pleats for my husband but my son buys the plain front and they both look great. He has these pants in almost every color available. I highly recommend these pants for all occasions.
