Men's Pleat Front No Iron Twill Dress Pants
I sent the pants back after discovering a parted seam near a side pocket the first day I wore them Unfortunately, I didn't notice it until after I was at work so spent the day with a large hole showing the white backing on the dark pants. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with the workmanship.

Top clip is terrible
The pants seem to be about the same quality that Lands End has had for a while, but they have changed the top button (at the top of the fly) to a metal clip. The clip is VERY difficult to undo. Sometimes it would take me over a minute to get it undone. Now I don't clip it which makes the look bad but at least I can get my pants off...

Not Durable and Not What they Appear to Be
I have 3 black pairs of these slacks, bought in two purchases. None of the pants are actually black. They are navy blue, tho they are packaged as black. They only appear black under limited and specific lighting conditions. They're also not durable. One of the 3 pairs developed a splt in the crouch seam within a couple of months. All the slacks are also wearing through the fabric at standard wear points (various pockets used for cell phone, keys, wallet). The hems are also ragged.
Compared to other well know brands that one typically gets cheaper, these pants do not last.

Great quality. Just what my husband was looking for and the colours are what is needed
Quality and style are what we were looking for.

For years, we depended on Lands' end for pants for my husband. The have now "improved" the fit and discontinued the long rise version. His old pants fit just perfectly, so the issue is the problem with the current fit., So disappointed.

Material is better but need more colors for sizes in long-rise cut
I have been buying these pants for my husband for many, many years and have been disappointed the past few years with the quality of material. This time, the material is a very heavy cotton and seems to be of better quality than in years past. However, the sizing has evidently changed! We had to order long-rise this time which we have never had to do before. I'm not sure why the sizing has changed but it is very frustrating! Because of having to order the long-rise pants, we are now limited to only three colors choices. This is crazy! Please consider making the long-rise pants in soapstone and in a green.

Deeper pockets means you need deeper $$ to buy
These are merely ok. For some reason LE did a way with the 60/40 cotton poly dress pants that wore like iron and fit well. This no wrinkle rendition was the only one I could find in a 37 waist.
The material is much lighter and thinner and in the off white pair I bought, have a rather strange "dirty" sheen when viewed under light.
Overall workmanship is good. I saw neatly sewn seams and few stray threads. But the thinner material does not coincide with the $69.00 I paid.

Sorry to see blended twills have disappeared
PLEASE bring back the blended polyester/cotton twills! There was nothing like them for people whose jobs require highly durable, nice looking pants. You had the corner on that market and could have expanded it by promoting the durability of the blend. Please consider doing this!

Bring Back Blended Dress Twills
I used to buy the blended cotton dress twill slacks several times a year because I work in a hospital and they were very durable upon constant dry cleaning, and also because I have a 35 inch inseam and could get them tailored to length. LandsEnd I guess decided to stop producing these, and instead have a new 100% cotton pant. If I wanted pajamas I would buy pajamas! Please bring back the blended cotton twills to continue to get my business!

Better Than BB Advantage Chinos
I've never owned a pair of these Pleat Front Traditional Fit No Iron Dress Twill Trousers, and for the past few years relied on chinos from another well-known retailer.
Although some of the reviews complain that the pants aren't as good as they used to be, I had no basis of comparison since I've never owned a pair.
Based on my first purchase, I am very pleased with these trousers, which offer the "advantage" of being approximately half the price of the brand I previously relied upon for my "business casual" daily attire. The fit is perfect, and the mid-weight fabric seems appropriate for all but the hottest days of the year. The quality is surprisingly high for the price, and I like the metal hook closure plus button rather than two buttons.
The pants are easy to machine wash in cool or warm water, and the "no iron" feature is holding up well. Of importance to me, the pants hold a good crease for at least two -- if not more -- wearings, and look significantly classier than traditional chinos. I purchased khaki and navy blue versions of this pant, and find the colors to be true and work well with my full collection of business casual button-down sports shirts and colorful cashmere or merino wool sweaters.
Most important, I like the way I feel in these pants. I highly recommend these trousers.
