Big dropoff in quality between current blend chino and last pair ordered Big dropoff: 1) Fabric thinner 2) Single button closure instead of 2 buttons or button + clip 3) No coin compartment in right-hand pocket 4) Metal zipper instead of nylon But I would still find the pants satisfactory. Quality cheapened in every regard Very disappointed. My husband has worn LE slacks for years. These are poor quality in every aspect: fabric, metal zipper instead of nylon, seams no longer encased just zigzagged, hem just 1" and straight stitched instead of 1 1/2" and blind stitched, legs are narrower. All ways to save on production costs. This shall be THE LAST pair of men's slacks purchased from LE. Pants a wrinkled mess when removed from dryer. I washed them before he wore them as they were SO wrinkled when they arrived. I am happy to pay for a quality product, this is not even close. I April 3, 2013
nicely tailored chinos These chinos were on sale so my husband chose them in khaki color with cuffs. He chose them because the fabric content of polyester/cotton was the same as his previous khakis and not the stiffer 100% no iron cotton. He prefers a crisp look so they do require a bit of ironing, though. I whip them out of the dryer as soon as it stops so ironing is quick. The legs and seat are trim and not too full, perfect on his build. He loves them and wears them for all occasions and does prefer them over his 100% cotton no iron chinos (which I think look too stiff). December 28, 2012
Sizing has changed - read garment info My husband bought 4 pair of these. He has worn Land's End 38's for a LONG time, so ordered the same this time. All the pairs measured almost 40 inches at the waist while still with the 38 label. We contacted Customer Service, who looked up garment info (also available online, but we never thought to check it). Customer service informed us that the 37 waist actually measured 38, (and the 38 measure 39+) so we exchanged our "38"'s for "37"'s. The replacements are great and my husband would continue to recommend them. December 25, 2012
I have ordered many times and i fine it good and nice Quality is great for the price I paid and you can wear it any time. November 11, 2012
Material is a lot lighter weight than I anticipated. Material is a lot lighter weight than I anticipated. October 17, 2012
Don't like the fabric or fit I ordered two pair of these for work so I thought the blend would work out fine for durability and wear. The fabric wrinkles very easily and the fit was on the small side. I prefer the no iron cotton chino's over these by a long shot. September 23, 2012
2 washings and now too short. Have washed (and dried) these 2 times and now they are too short. August 20, 2012
The best chinos for work that I've found! These chinos live up to what is presented about them in the product description. They are soft to the touch, comfortable to ware and they hold their color and press after many washes. They look good, in fact better than many higher priced 100% cotton chinos. As part of my daily uniform, they are chrisp and sharp. I am very pleased with these pants. August 19, 2012
Nice look, feel; sizing issue I read every review before ordering this product. The fabric look and feel was ideal. I ordered two inches larger than my waist size based on one low-boat review. I was disappointed that the waist was a tight fit, and the rise very uncomfortable. My pursuit of consistency in Lands End sizing continues. August 19, 2012
