Men's Plain Front No Iron Twill Dress Pants
Always a great buy
They look great, wash well, last forever, fit perfectly, and the price is right. One couldn't ask for better.

Great quality and great fit.
The pants were the great quality that we have come to expect with Land's End products. My husband wore this past Sunday for Easter. He likes them and thought they fit well.

Great choice for a business casual workplace
I have worn Lands End twill slacks for years - every since business casual took over in the work place. They are consistently well made and the fit is always true. I wear these slacks often and they hold up very well - much better than other cotton twill slacks I have purchased locally. You will easily get more than 1 or 2 seasons out these slacks.
I recently started buying the tailored fit as it seemed the regular fit was starting to feel a bit big especially in the legs and seat. The tailored fit works well for me now.
The price has crept up recently, but I expected that as cotton prices have increased dramatically. Although the price is up some, the Lands End price is still as good, if not better, than other options out there.

Not "generous through hip and thigh"
These pants are high quality in all respects, except their conformity to the product description as "more generous through hip and thigh." They are anything but "more generous through hip and thigh." Honesty, they feel more like a pair of jeans than dress pants. Dress pants should have a generous drape and not wrap tightly around one's bottom and thighs.

Dress twills are back!
The fit and finish are great and the style fits right in to today's office environment. These slacks actually are No Iron for the most part and you can get away without ironing them if you are quick to get them out of the dryer. They will still benefit from a quick touch-up with the iron though.

Still not like they used to be
Land's End changed some of the details back to the way they used to be like the button clasp and hook closure.
The fit is very weird on these pants now. I still have some of the "original" no-iron dress twills and the new ones do not fit the same. The pants are comfortable in the waist, but my upper thigh and crotch area are way too tight. It is like the pants are too small right at the area where the bottom of the pocket is sewn on.
I can send you a pair of the "original" twills that are a bit worn so you can measure and have the factory work up a pattern!
These were always my go-to pants for work and now I have to find something else- if I were to order a size up, the waist would be too big.
Too bad, I had hoped that they had gone back to the original design.

Not the same Quality
I have purchased these pants for years and they always came nicely hemmed to my ordered length, very good quality. This last order, the quality was noticeably different, and the hemming was pathetic... not professional at all. Sorry Land's End ~ this was likely my last order.

The pants are better than they were last year, but they are still not as good as they were before they made the big change.
The fit is still not back to what it was. It's better than last year's, though. The issue is that the regular rise is still too short, it should be longer. Also the zipper is cheaper. So now I have to buy the long rise pants, and the problem here is that they only come in waist 34 or 36, not my size of 35.

Correct sizing (for a change), but far from "no-iron" and in general not as tailored-looking as the polyester-cotton blend they used to carry. Still, the ability to get a pair of pants with the correct leg length and a more-or-less nice cut is worth something.

Nice substitute for gaberdine or wool dress pants.
The pants can be worn as dress pants with sports jacket without that out to lunch feeling... good stuff and enough colours to make them a good buy.
