Men's Dress Code Long Sleeve Blend Oxford Shirt
Bring back shirts that we have a chance of fitting into...
Echoing Mike29: Like Mike29, I'm coming back to LE from since BS (Before Sears). Used to be that we could order a shirt from LE to our Neck x Sleeve size, and have 100% assurance it would fit - bring back the $19 Classic Button-down Oxford! For those of us that work out, the smalls might work for sleeve length 32, the mediums for neck (15-1/2), and the chest for large (40-42) - why not be able to order one shirt where everything fits? I'm going to a couple of LE Shirts a try (might get lucky), but if they don't work, they're going right back. Buying quality shirts online shouldn't be a lottery.

Best Shirt Value Nobody Can Wear
No more 60/40 Lands End Hyde Park Oxfords for me. I have the 9 in my closet (exact size 19 x 35) which I am slowly wearing out and now I'm left with new choices. All bad. I have to either:
1. Buy a shirt that fits my collar size, but is HUGE everywhere else including sleeve length (3XL#
2. Buy a shirt that sort of fits everywhere else, but give myself a headache whenever I have to wear a tie because the neck is way too small #2XL#
3. Buy more expensive 100% cotton shirts that will wrinkle after 20-30 washings and either need to be ironed or replaced #all the non-60-40 stuff#; or
4. Find another vendor who is committed to real sizes in a 60/40 Oxford, preferably button-down, so I can replenish my supply. I wear them 5 days a week, sometimes 6.
Unless Land's End brings back exact sizing in a 60/40 long sleeve product, it will be option 4 for me. And I haven't looked outside of LE for shirts since 1988 #You know, in the era before Sears).

No good without exact neck size and sleeve length
Sad. This used to be my favorite casual / dress shirt ... when it was available with exact neck size and sleeve length. Doesn't work for me now with S,M,L, & XL sizing. Will not purchase again! C'mon Land's End, take note of the other reviews and give the consumer what he/she wants; you'll sell more product and your customers will come back!

Based on past experience, a good shirt if it fits. It is no longer sold to size.
I was going to order a few new shirts but they Lands End no longer sells the shirt to fit me. To bad. I love the products but because I am short the company is slowly excluding me from more and more of them. I have been buying an Oxford shirt or two each year or so dating back to the 1980's.

Well made, nice material, good fit.

Good quality, BUT.....
The shirt is excellent quality but what difference does that make if you can't get an exact size? The sizes are S, M, L, XL, and XXL. If you get the right neck size, the sleeve length will be way off. If you get the right sleeve length, the neck is off. This shirt used to be offered in the exact size you needed, and until it is again, I'll have to shop elsewhere.

problem with inexact sleeve and neck sizing
The fabric of the shirt is fine, and it washed well. However, this is the first time my husband ordered a dress shirt with a general size - large - instead of a specific neck size and sleeve length, and it ws too big on him, especially in the sleeve, but actually all around, although he is definitely net a "medium". We will not order shirts with this sizing again. He has been wearing your shirts for many years, but we will have to reconsider our future purchases.

color not as advertised
this shirt was advertised as "canvas" in color, but when it arrived it was quite yellow. i'll be returning it. i'm sure it's well made, but the color is not for me.

Very happy with fabric, but unhappy with new sizing system
I have bought a number of these shirts for my husband and been very satisfied with them - including the easy care fabric; however the change to general rather than specific sizing means I shall no longer buy them from Lands' End. You should also change the description, which still says the shirts can be ordered "Perfect fit: your exact neck and sleeve sizes."

Another Former Customer
For many years I've worn this shirt, in large part because I knew the collar and the sleeves would fit. But because Lands' End has substituted an inferior product, I will do my shopping elsewhere.
