Men's Insulated Squall Parka
a "go to" coat for winter and it is available in tall
Bought this coat several times in the last 20 years. Saw my son literally wear forever until it is really wore out, although I had bought him another new one to replace it after 10 years. He uses the old one for work and the new one to wear other times because he got the first one so dirty. Yes- it washes very well. But I bought in taupe, so it shows the dirt, etc. a bit more. Now I am buying for my grandson because it is also tall and the length will serve him well. GREAT Coat and the boys like them for the winter. My son's wife is recommending another new coat in another color for this year. Buy it if you are in the winter weather and want a coat to cover your butt and upper thighs. Worth every penny.

BEST COLD WEATHER COAT I'VE EVER OWNED.
Because of the mixed reviews I've seen in the past, I held off giving my opinion until I owned this coat for a full year. It is simply the best and warmest cold weather coat I've ever owned. Though it might be a bit bulky for some commuting in a car, I wear it primarily for using my snow-blower and other outdoor activities in windy and sub-freezing snowy weather, convincing me that it is perfect for long, cold wear outdoors. The extra-long length protects the thighs and hips and is also welcome when sitting at an outdoor event. The collar can be adjusted and snugged to protect the lower face, allowing your own breath to warm you. There are more than enough pockets, large & small and inside & out, with zipper or velcro closures. I find the visor on the hood to be a distraction, but it can be temporarily folded under or permanently cut off, though some might welcome it when walking toward the wind. It has shown no wear and the zipper has not been a problem for me, though I don't wear it every day or tax it with my size when I do. After the first cold weather wearing, I was so impressed as to give one to my son for Christmas, as he commutes and has a long walk & wait at the bus-stop both ways. He appreciated the extra warmth beginning with his first wearing, including the warm hood and the inside pockets for his mp3 player, and he also praises it as the over-all best cold weather coat he's ever owned.

Great coat, only complaint is that my prior one had more inside pockets & I do not no why they removed them.

Warm Coat...Bad Design
The coat is warm and comfortable..Thats the good part..It is almost impossible to zipper up the coat and it is also almost impossible to attach the hood once it is removed.. Poorly designed. To many problems and would not recommend

$200 Jacket with a 10 Cent Zipper.
This jacket is warm, looks great, has more pockets than you can use. I really like it, but the zipper started giving me trouble the first winter. This winter, the second, it is about useless. Either it will not zip up or it will unzip at the bottom leaving the second half of the zipper at the bottom resulting in spending 20 minutes trying to move the upper half of the zipper back to the bottom so you can take off the jacket.
This would be the best jacket possible if they would just invest in a $1 zipper.

This parka has lost a lot of quality
I ordered a mens medium to replace my old parka because the zipper broke. I ordered a mens because the womens parkas don't have enough pockets. To my disappointment, they have eliminated three inside pockets; the parka fits smaller than my last one; and the material is more flimsy. The express delivery was very fast, but I have to keep this coat because it's the only winter coat I have. Next year I will have to buy a mens large. Very disappointed in this parka. Not nearly as good as the previous version.

Great coat - but HATE the zipper!
This is a great coat. It can get really windy and cold here in Buffalo, NY, and this coat is more than up to the task of keeping me warm. Comfortable, not too heavy or bulky and good looking, too. Like all the pockets and especially like that the hood can be removed. The collar, oddly enough, needed a bit of breaking in to get it to lie flat because of the way the insulation is carried up into it, but now that is fine, too. My only issue is with the zipper. A 2-way zipper is definitely needed on a garment of this length to prevent its riding up on you when sitting - especially to drive. BUT, getting the darned thing zipped can be a real hassle. The coat is just long enough that in order to reach the zipper you must bend down a bit and pull the bottom of the coat up - which causes it to bunch up just enough to make it hard to see the zipper. Then you must be very sure that the two parts of the zipper slide are tight together in order to allow the tab part to seat firmly through both pieces. Sometimes this can take several tries to get everything lined up just right! If you are in a hurry this can be VERY frustrating! Other than that, as I said, great coat and great value - even at full price.

Not as warm as I expected. Lack of insulation in the sleeves. It fits small a little. Sleeves are tight and a little bit short (size S)... At -20C arms felt freezy. BUT it looks good, quality seems to be very good, length keeps warm. Comfortable enough for driving ( long coat is a plus when sitting on a cold car seat)... I recommend it for a mild wet winter.
