I hate the feel of no iron shirts, and I hope that we will see more colors in the Hyde Park classic. Are you trying to phase them out? Don't make that mistake! I have worn these shirts all my life (it seems) and I hope to live long enough to buy more of them.

I started purchasing the Hyde Park shirt when I was 24 years old and I am now 56. I have during those years wandered a few times away into other territories, buying cheaper shirts many of which are expensive labels like Tommy Hilfiger, Nautica, and Polo, but I can attest without hesitation that this shirt is among the best of shirts made and will therefore always be my gold standard. The Brooks Brothers Supima Cotton shirt is the only thing I have found that even comes close to the quality and fit, and it costs twice as much. What you will find is that the collar, even after tons of dry cleaning, never shrinks. You can order true neck size for this shirt, whereas I have to buy an inch larger neck size for any other shirt to account for shrinkage, or else suffer with strangulation. And if it were to shrink, I am certain that Lands End would replace it under their awesome satisfaction guarantee. The shirt wears longer thanks to the fabric thickness and it is more durable than other shirts for the same reason allowing multiple wears if you want. With even the lightest starch it presents as crisp and professional looking, but it is, in the end, simply a work horse and will always be my go to shirt for a day at the office.

Rated 3 out of 5 by PedroMinuto Well made, but...
... it comes out of the dryer quite stiff, even though it's 'Supima.' The non-iron Supima oxfords (Hyde Park need ironing) are much softer, but the collar on the Hyde Park is cut a bit lower all around, so it looks better, at least on me. The Supima oxford collar can make you look like you're wearing a turtleneck, it's so high. So if the Supima oxford had the same cut collar as that of Hyde Park, it'd be shirt nirvana for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KennethC Very poor quality compared to Hyde Park shirts of the past
I have been ordering Hyde Park shirts for many years. The last order is terrible. The material is not as beefy as in prior years and they come out of the washer/light dry a MESS.. Lands End can hype the new Supima cotton all it wants, but they are not as good as prior shirts. I will not buy any more until they change.

I have purchased a number of Land's Ends shirts over the years. This combination is my favorite by far.

Over the years I've ordered custom shirts from several locations. Shirts from Lands End rival the quality and fit of many custom shirts at far less price.

I have many of these in my closet that fit great in a 15 1/2 x 34. WELL, I ordered some new ones in the same size and they fit like a 'tailored' cut, not able to button the collar, the cut in the arm pits, across the chest, and sleeves is unwearable.
So, I've just ordered a 16 x 34 and hope that works or will I need a 16 1/2 x 34.
It really bugs me when a vendor changes a long time staple item without telling us customers. They could save themselves and us a lot of hassle by telling everyone of such changes.

OK, you guys have been independent from Sears for more than a year. Why cannot I get on your website and purchase this fine garment in my size in plain white and/or blue? The Hyde Park is...or was...one of your flagship garments for men, and I am still wearing a couple of them from before the Sears acquisition debacle. This is like the hardware store being out of 60 watt light bulbs or garden sprinklers. Come on, Lands' End, stock up on these. Your old customers will buy them if they are in stock.

The fit is perfect for my tall husband and washing is a breeze! No wrinkles if removed promptly from the dryer.

This is an impressive shirt. It is a clear example of Lands' End quality and tailoring. It fits and wears extremely well.
