Girls' Waterproof Squall® Snow Bibs
So amazingly durable
These snow pants might be the best investment I've ever made. They size 5 is a little big on my 5-year old, and she's tall for her age so they might be quite long on some others, but we just turn them up a bit at the bottom and they stay that way so that she doesn't walk on them. She puts them to a rough test every day on the playground and outside after school and they don't show the slightest wear. Our school makes the kids wear snow pants for warmth even when there's no snow so she grubs around in the dirt in these and they are still going 100% strong. I have no doubt that she can wear them for 2 years and then hand them down to her sister for another two years of wear. She can put them on herself due to the zipper and they are super warm. The term "water-proof" is a bit of a stretch though. If she stays outdoors long enough the fabric will eventually become wet. But even so I've never heard her say that SHE is wet, so I surmise that it doesn't seep all the way through. In any case these snow pants are some of the best money I've ever spent and I have no idea what any reviewer who is griping about the quality can mean. My daughter crawls around on pavement in these and they don't even snag! I think they just need to make them a tad shorter. Since they can be lengthened anyway there's no reason they need to start off on the long side. Plus they are always being worn with boots that come up a ways. With our last pair, our daughter grew out of the rise before she grew out of the length of the pants. But even if they never change I'll keep buying them because I don't believe anything could be better, especially at this price point!

Great for our ski trip
Great quality, price, and fit. Just what we needed.

Will grow out of them before they wear out!
We have purchased the squall bibs in vibrant fuchsia, fuchsia plum and black. They are roomy, warm and durable. Cousins will inherit them and they will rock on!

True to size
My daughter is 7yrs. And wears a size 8. Based on the reviews that these bibs ran big, I ordered a Big Girl size 7. They were too small. The length was fine but there was no extra room at all. Unfortunately, Size 8 is no longer available, so we'll try the snow pants instead. We'll see how that works out.

Love Land's End snowpants and coats, been buying for my kid's and grandkids over 20 years. Wear well and keep them warm. Wash and dry nice also.

Great pants. Could be improved by elastic in the straps
The pants are terrific, sturdy, waterproof. Love that they are high on the front and back (warm and almost impossible to get snow down them!) and that they can be lengthened. One improvement would be elastic in the straps. My daughter complains that there are some movements, while sitting down in the playground, that are awkward b/c the straps don't stretch.

Great for Iowa Winter!
These are cute, appropriately snug, and easy to put on and take off. We use the clip to attach my granddaughter's squall mittens. Snow shakes off and everything dries quickly.

Doesn't seem like lands end quality
I ordered these for my daughter in December. We've had a few really frigid spells here in MN and the snowpants keep her warm and dry. I always buy my lands end snow pants for my kids, ever since my 17 year old was a toddler! The length is always a tadtoo long and the edges of the fabric eventually get worn down from getting walked on, but I always order because the snowpants have been so amazing in every other way! Every other pair of lands end snow pants we've had has taken quite a beating before I notice the hems wearing through where they rub a bit on the ground do to extra length. Like, a full year of every day kid-rough wear before I notice the rub, And still it's usually just wear, not total all-the-way rips and tears. Until this year. The fabric felt rougher to me right away but I ignored it, my daughter likes them and they seem as warm as ever. But after literally a hand full of uses the hems at the bottoms are worn and ripped so throughly they look years old and insulation is exposed, which soaks up water and makes them sloppy. Maybe my fault for keeping them when they were a bit too long, but was never a problem before because the fabric was so amazing and durable! Will look elsewhere as now it seems the too long lengths for my kids no longer hold up. A side note, I've had bad luck with nearly all my lands end purchases this year. Put it two orders in November and December, assortment of accessories and outerwear, and have returned everything except these snowpants due to quality or styling issues. Feeling lands end is lowering their bar!

Liked very much. Bought for my granddaughter. Fit perfectly.
Color did not quite match her jacket that I bought from Lands End but could use together.

My Husband and I Want Some Now
In truth my daughter hasn't put them on yet. She's not a fan of extra clothes but the quality is fantastic and I'm glad that she will have the option to be outside when the weather gets colder. My husband and I want a pair for ourselves!
