Girls' Unit Bottom Mary Jane Shoes
Super cute, but not made to last
I love these uniform shoes! They're pretty, my daughter adores them, they fit her really well, and they're very comfortable. The only negative is that after two months the sole is separating from the shoe and has holes in both heels?they're pretty destroyed. However, they're so inexpensive I don't mind buying a few extra pairs.

Beautiful comfy shoes
My daughter has always liked these shoes. When she was younger, I always got the brighter colors. Now as a petite 12-year-old she wanted something more "elegant". These are good both for dressy and for her "business dress" day at school. Based on past experience, I expect them to outlive her use. Too bad she's the youngest in her generation in the family. No one to pass them on to.

Half sizes needed!
We ordered a size 13 (based on the sizer that we printed out), and they were too snug. We then ordered a size 1, and they are way too big. There is an inch difference in the two sizes. Half sizes are needed!

I have been buying Lands' End shoes for my daughter for many years and I have always been happy with the look, quality' and fit of these shoes. I highly recommend them!

Half sizes, please!
These are really cute shoes! We bought them to wear with the school uniform and I had a tough time finding sporty mary jane shoes anywhere else in black or brown. I could've used a half size, but so far I've heard no complaints about the shoe even though it's a half size up.

These shoes fit my girls really well. The printable shoe-sizing page was perfect. The soles are nice and flexible and have good traction. I am very, very happy with them.

Poor quality; not up to Lands End standards
Not as well made as Mary Janes bought from Lands End in the past, flimsier soles and thinner uppers. The dye on the inside of the strap came off and stained my socks. Overall, very disappointing.

Want the old Mary Janes back
I purchased two pairs of the new style of Mary Janes because the several pairs of the old style I had purchased a few years ago were finally wearing out. I will be returning one pair because the new slimmer shape is not as comfortable. I loved the old boxier toed style because I could finally wiggle my toes in shoes and they were heavenly comfortable. Looking forward to a return of a boxier style which is comfortable. I should have purchased 30 pairs of the old style when I had the chance because maybe they would have lasted the rest of my life. Disappointed in these, but they will fit someone well. Just not me. Will not cry when THIS new pair wears out or breaks, unlike the old style.

Fell apart in one month
I purchased a total of 8 pair of these shoes and the Party and Play Mary Janes for our four girls, ages 5-7. After one month, two of the 8 pair had broken straps separated from the velcro. After one more month, another pair had a broken strap. By the third month, two remaining pair had worn holes in the soles and the velcro was frayed with the straps threatening to snap. See the pic of what shoes looked like after just ONE month! Expected better quality for the money! :(

Prefer the Party & Play Mary Jane
I have previously purchased the Party & Play Mary Jane shoe for my daughter as a school shoe and they held up very well considering they were worn daily by a very active child - looking somewhat worn after the 1st semester I decided to purchase another pair for the 2nd half of the year mostly because she had scuffed all the suede off the toes. Unfortunately, Land's End seemed to have replaced the Party & Play with this "Girls Unit Bottom" Mary Jane - I am not impressed. These HAVE NOT held up as well - they look worse than the pair they replaced after only 2.5 months (which included 4 to 6 weeks of very cold weather that did not allow much outside play). The straps are fraying, the suede is wearing & they just look tacky. They'll get her through the remainder of the school year - and I was able to purchase a pair of the "Party & Play" Mary Jane on clearance that I have put aside for next school year. LE please, please (PLEASE) bring the "Party & Play Mary Jane back!
