Girls' ThermaCheck®-200 Fleece Pea Coat
Our 2nd one-- daughter loves these!
Great fit! When my daughter outgrew last years, she wanted another. This time I did get a darker color as our last one, pale pink, showed dirt easily. They are fleece & with time they will pill some, but I felt this fleece quality was above average.

So cute, and warm, big hit!
My daughter loves her new peacoat. She wore it again this morning to school, and asked if this is the kind of coat kids in France wear - very chic! We got the coral and it is a beautiful shade. Very warm and cozy for the fall, glad we bought this coat.

My almost 12 year old daughter picked out this coat in coral. She loves it. We ordered size 14 (which is what I would normally buy for her) and it fits fine with room to grow. Great fall coat. Looks a little dressier than a hoodie but just as comfy.

My daughter loves it!
We had purchased a pink one of these a few years ago and my daughter wore it a lot. Now we got her the blue one, and she is even happier! The new model has a softer fleece and doesn't have the decorative sleeve straps that only ever got dirty. Great choice for Fall and Spring here in Wisconsin.

Nice, but not dressy material...
I ended up returning this item because I thought the material would be a little dressier. My fault for not reading the description closer. The material is microfleece and it appeared to be somewhat thin. I wanted a jacket my daughter could wear that wasn't bulky like a winter coat to get on and off the bus, etc., in the cold weather. I'm not convinced this would keep her warm enough for the 5-10 minutes she waits for the bus in 20 degree weather or at recess for 20 minutes.

Fits well, soft and bright
This coat fits well, seems warm and is brightly coloured. My only concern is that it doesn't have an extra button on the inside to keep the double breasted overlapping panels together (hard to describe, but the "inside" front flap of the coat drops lower at the bottom than the "outside" front flap, instead of lining up. My daughter likes the coat, so I'll probably sew in a snap to keep that inside panel higher.

Nice coat - wrong sizing!
Girls M (10-12) fits a Small/ Medium woman. It does NOT fit my 10 year old at all. Very disappointing! Quality wise is seems very nice and it would be perfect for our south Texas winter.

I got this same jacket a couple years ago for my little girl in the navy blue color. Landsend's coats and jackets run larger than the rest of the clothes they make. I've bought pants, shirts and shorts and all of them run about a size smaller than gap kids and gymboree. The larger size just means that the coats and jackets last an extra year. This is a light wight piece of clothing. I wouldn't take my child on a snow trip just wearing this as protection from the weather. If you wanted your child to wear this in colder temperatures you would need to layer clothes underneath (we live in Texas so we really don't have this problem unless we are visiting family out of state). I personally think this jacket is adorable and it looks cute on any age of girl. I also love that they have so many color options. Last year it was blue, this year it's orange because that's my daughter's favorite color.
Side note: If the jacket isn't buttoned up the pockets flop around. If this bothers you, I would recommend getting a thread and needle and tacking the ends of the pockets down to the strip of lining to avoid this. Other than the pockets acting weird, this is a excellent jacket.

Not made the same as before!
I ordered this coat 2 years ago for my daughter and LOVED it! It was so warm, soft, well-made, with Great little details! It is soft, maybe warm, but the cute well-made details are gone. It had cuffs that were lined with pink and white seersucker and a button on the outside. My daughter is a little short for her age so I would roll the cuffs to make them shorter. It was so cute with the stripes showing. Also I would pop the collar because it had the pink and white seersucker on the underside! I buy Lands End for this cute attention to detail and I am disappointed. I could have saved some money, that I do not mind putting toward quality items, and got a different coat with more style. I am sending it back.

a gift for two
I absolutely love this. I own four in the adult size and purchased them as gifts for family as well. I saw this and decided it would be perfect for my niece. I found it in my Sears store (on sale); and was pleasantly surprised that the girl's XL fit me perfectly. Needless to say I bought one for myself and my niece. I am 5'6" and 155 lbs. I usually wear a LE small. The only difference I see between this and the adult ones I own, is the kid's version is not lined. I love the fun colors and this is a perfect go to mid weight jacket.
