Girls' Stormer Snowboard Jacket
Love the jacket
By some reason, this item has not gotten many reviews. I want to correct this situation. I got this jacket for my daughter (11yo but very tall). So, I got the largest kid's size I could (size 16 regular). The jacket is light, thin but water & wind proof. My daughter absolutely loves it. The hand-coughs are extremely helpful and keep her hands from wind. The hood is adjustable; the length is perfect (it's below the hips). My kid is very active and the light-weight is just perfect. Also, the jacket went perfect with the snow bibs. It's perfect for Nova Scotia winter. It works great with thin top during those warmer but slushy and windy winter days. And, it works just as well with an extra layer for those days when it's extremely cold. My daughter wore it at +5C and at -18C. And she was very pleased. The color combination and shape of the jacket is not a kid-like: it actually give a nice figure-shape. Besides, the teal color is absolutely fabulous! We got tons of compliments on this jacket.

Very warm and lightweight!
My daughter loves her new coat! The first day my daughter wore this coat it was 19 degrees outside - she walked home from school with a short sleeve t-shirt under her coat and she said she was perfectly comfortable! I was shocked and upset when I found her sweater was in her backpack- but she was still warm. It seems light -my husband called it a spring jacket- but my daughter is very warm in this coat. She also played outside with this coat, her hat and mittens in 25 degrees for over an hour the other day...she was perfectly fine. She also loves the green/blue color combo. Great coat for a sporty kid that doesn't want to be weighed down just because it cold outside! And no more whining when we get into the icy cold car in the morning (all three are in lands end coats and all are warm!)

Appears Lightweight but does the job
i was very reluctant to keep this jacket for my 9 years old daughter thinking it wouldnt provide enough warmth. She skied this past weekend with temperatures at the base coming in at 2 degrees. She was never cold. She wore her usual base layer thermals and vneck zip thermal. I had brought another layer to the mountain and she refused to wear it. She loves the jacket.

Too lightweight. Why bother?
Why is this called a snowboard jacket? It's way too thin and lightweight to be useful for anything involving snow. Sending it back!

Warm and Lightweight perfect for a busy kid
This fits very well is true to size, appears to be very well made and good quality. I hope this will last my daughter a couple of winters. The warmth will be perfect for Mississippi winters and it is very lightweight which she loves. She is also thrilled that it perfectly matches her Lands End rolling backpack for school.

Cool, updated jacket
Great fit and updated style. My daughter is 10 and is excited about a jacket that looks a bit more grown up. We are happy it's Lands End, which means it's still age appropriate. My only concern is the warmth rating - not a lot of choices this year in very warm coats. We'll be doing a lot of layering for New England winters. Love the green!
