Girls' Long Sleeve Scalloped Edge Space Graphic T-shirt
Girl vs boy
It's so hard to find gender neutral clothes and it's even harder to find non-princess clothes for girls. So I was excited to get this for my daughter. I got one for her and the boy version for my nephew. Once again I'm disappointed. As you can hopefully tell from the picture the boys version has the NASA symbol on the sleeve and the girl shirt doesn't. Why not?? Also, the girl shirt is about an inch smaller all around for the same size. Why? The boys material is also thicker, more substantial. Come on Lands End, you can do better for girls. This one is going back.

Way to go Landsend!
I haven't purchased this shirt, but I just wanted to send a big THANK YOU for including these space shirts for girls! I hope to continue to see more like this.

Nice pattern but thin fabric
The pattern is nice although my daughter is upset there is a NASA logo on the same pattern T for boys but not on girl's T. However, the fabric is too thin. It is acceptable for short sleeves but not enough for long sleeves.

Poor silk screening
Shirt fabric is very thin, see through. Graphic was substantially damaged after just one wash. The embroidered and sequined shirts have held up much better.

Thank you, lands end!
We love our science shirts made for girls. Thank you for listening and making them, land's end. It's about time!

Love the rocket ship shirt
I love this whole series of shirts. My daughter is wearing her 'space rocket' shirt today. There are so few really compelling science shirts for girls- these are great options. The rocket shirt is pretty cool- it's detailed in a 'blue print' style, so it leads to some conversation about rockets! The shirt is well made. I might suggest ordering a size up. I ordered a size 4 for my little one and she usually wears a 3/4 in most clothing. The 4 fits, but a 5 would have given her room to grow. Otherwise well made, great color- love, love, love!

Good - but plus sizes needed
My daughter loves the STEM related shirts for GIRLS!
From a mom standpoint - the fabric is a bit thin, but typical of girl tshirts. I would prefer heavier fabric, but this seems to be the norm. The shirts seem to be well made. My biggest complaint is that you don't carry them in plus sizes. An XL is longer, but not really any bigger across than a Large. As my daughter has more broad shoulders and chest - a Plus option would probably fit better.

Like other reviewers, my 4th grade daughter asked daily when her NASA shirt would arrive. She put it on immediately and then asked why I didn't order her all 3 designs! Keep up the good work with the cool shirts for girls (maybe make them a little bigger as these do tend to run just a bit small).

Awesome science shirt! (for girls)
Thank you Land's End for stepping up with STEM t-shirts for girls. While I wish we could just have ?T-shirts?, at least having some science based T?s in the girls section is a good start. My daughter has been asking almost every day for a month (since I pre-ordered the shirt) "when will my planet shirt get here?" It arrived yesterday and is exactly what we were hoping for. She promptly named off all the planets in order. Although it took a moment to find Pluto, "It is the smallest planet after all mom." The fabric is thick enough for no jacket in an Alaskan fall. We were particularly impressed with how the sun looks "real", complete with solar flares. She is a tall (48") thin (52 lbs) 6 year old and the size S Big girls worked great.

Runs a bit small, but awesome shirt.
First of all, everything everyone else said is echoed here--great theme, great that you're responding to customers and embracing STEM themes for girls, etc. I'll also add that I love the colors, and I also like the fitted cut of the shirt--it's not like a boxy boy's shirt. However, is runs a bit small, IMO. My daughter just turned 3 and she is 40' tall (96th percentile) and 34lbs (79th). We ordered a 4 since that's the size she wears in your uniform shirts, but this shirt is cut a lot more narrow, so we will have to send it back for a size 5 or 6. That said, can't wait for her to wear it!
