Girls' Fashion Down Coat
It looks great on my daughter, looks better in person than the website!

Like the color. Fits just right.
My five year-old daughter says the coat in the teal color is beautiful. She likes the room to grow sleeves. She likes the flower trim and lining, and likes to wear it every day. She likes the buttons and zipper too. She recommends it to other children.

jacket is beautiful
My daughter loves this jacket. It is the perfect length to cover her legs in the cold winter. She wears her lacey bow back silver boots with it and the purple is a little metallic (shiny). The size was perfect fit ; we got the little girls size 6x.

Pretty, not very warm
I bought this in XL for my tall skinny 12 yo -- it's a bit big but I wanted to get more than a year's wear out of it. She loves it for the color (teal) and pretty lining. I was concerned when I saw how light it was that it wouldn't be very warm and with our first really cold snap of the season, I was unfortunately proved right. Despite a sweater, multiple layers, hat etc. she was very cold at 0 degrees. We bought it on sale, otherwise I would be more upset. We are keeping it and will have to layer with a thick fleece or down vest. We have been buying Lands End coats for three kids for many years and I feel that the quality has suffered recently.

I bought this coat for my 12 year old daughter and she loves the style and fit. We have always purchased Lands End kids coats and have never been disappointed. The sizing is generous to allow for the inevitable growth spurt.

Warm, lovely & great for petites
As a petite woman over 50, I was looking for a warm coat that wouldn't make me look like the Michelin Tire Man.This coat fits the bill and I'm getting lots of compliments on it! I love the color (I got the teal) and the flowers--not just for little girls! My only complaint is that the inside pocket is tiny and the hand-warmer pockets don't zip, so it's less secure than the pockets of most adult-sized coats. Otherwise am enjoying its warmth whether I'm dressed up or not. For reference, I am 4'10" and a bit over 110 pounds, and am wearing the girls' XL. I have broad shoulders and athletic arms, and the coat isn't too tight. I can also wear sweaters underneath with no problem.

This coat is a great for cold, windy weather.
This is a very beautiful, warm, yet lightweight coat. My daughter has loved wearing it. However, she has this coat for a month and the fabric is already showing lots of wear & tear. There are several snag spots, especially on the sleeves. It shows stains and looks very raggedy due to the material & sheen.
I feel a different material would be beneficial in future designs. I bought it big with the intentions of wearing it for two seasons, but at this rate, I'm not sure how it'll look next winter. I would have hoped it would've held up and looked better for the money.

nice looking down coat..
So dissatisfied with this coat. As a previous buyer of the fashion down, I had great expectations. My daughter has and still wears the lands end fashion down coat I bought 4 years ago. The fabric quality, hand and thread count are much higher. Construction and craftsmanship outstanding. The previous coat had a lot more secret pockets and sherpa lining at back and collar. Because I.loved this coat I was greatly disappointed at the quality of this years down coat. The self fabric is very cheap looking and low quality. The lining is a very cheap and thin polyester. Less down fill than previous coat. My 8 year old daughter was very disappointed and was one to notice.

Eye catching downcoat
Very nice color. Like other reviewers mentioned, you need a scarf to seal the neck space. My daughter (7 years old) loves it and she alternates this with another short downcoat. It's running a little big but not too much. It was a great buy from Lands' End!

We had the LE Chevron Warmest coat a few years ago and it was fantastic. My daughter loved the styling of this coat, but I had to disappoint her and return it as it would never hold up to winter temps (even in Northern VA). It was so thin, I was so disappointed. Not the way to save on costs, LE!
