Boys' Iron KneeŽ Pull-on Camo Ripstop Pants
My son says these are comfy. He likes all the pockets. I only washed them once but they seem very durable and wash and dry well. We love the iron knees. We bought a 10 H husky for my 8 1/2 year old but they fit him exactly so I ordered a 12 H. They are a little big but he will be able to wear them longer.

Child loves these pants
My almost 6 year old is a challenge to get dressed. Doesn't like or wear anything with buttons/snaps or adjustable waistbands. Thank you Lands End for making pants made to fit a 5 slim boy with the pull on feature and no adjustable waistbands with buttons. You cannot find quality pants made to fit anywhere else. The nylon pants he was wearing always had holes in the knees. Not these. I've ordered 2 more.

Runs bigger than I expected, but nice pants
Warning: no adjustable waist. Size 6 slim was bigger in waist & longer length than I thought. He still is able to wear, but it gathers up by his shoes--he'll grow into them. We wish it could be made a little tighter in waist. Good pants, though.

So far so good!
I have a 14 year old son with Down syndrome who needs pants that he can pull up himself. ie no zippers.
I bought these in a size 16 H (He is 5 feet and 120 pounds) and they fit perfectly, except I needed to hem them. They are very comfortable and easy to get on and off and he has had lots of compliments. I thought they might be a bit gaudy but they seem to go with most of his shirts. Of course I am a huge Landsend fan having dressed my 5 sons almost exclusively in Landsend clothes and having the items pass down to the next child in mostly good condition.

Not as good as last year's
Bought what looked like the same product last year. Those were sturdy and have lasted well the entire year with an exception that the knee is beginning to tear. That's ok for the use they have received.
Thought I was buying the same product. The material on these parts is weaker and since my son is on the very slim side, I bought slim. They are loose. There is no adjustment for Little Boys - only on the Big Boys pants. His old ones had a belt that could be pulled for a tighter fit - these ones do not.
Obviously, I have to return them.

FInally! Something that fits a sensitive pre-teen husky boy!
I have been looking for trousers like this! My 12 year old hates the way jeans feel and prefers sweat pants but, now that he is getting older, I have been looking for something a little less informal and durable. He is at a point where most boys sizes are too tight in the waist and mens sizes are too long in the leg. Even boys husky sizes on most brands don't work for him anymore. I found his first pair in a thrift shop to test drive and have since purchased several additional from Lands End. The reinforced knee is great. One boat demotion because they were too long in the leg and we preferred the plastic buckle to the snap. (He's allergic to the metal in snaps.) Had to hem up the legs and put some clear nail polish on the snap.

Almost perfect pants
We love these pants in our house! Pull on style is great for little guys who don't do well with zippers and snaps/button-fly yet. The only down side is that the hidden adjustable waist is not available for Little Boy sizes, only Big Boy. My son is not allowed belts in pre-school, so hidden adjustable waist pants are our solution to that dilemma. We can't wear these to school, but if Lands End would add the adjustable waist to sizes 4-7 I would have given these all five stars. For now, we'll wear them on non-school days.

2 pairs ripped along the inner seam
My son loves these pants but both pairs we ordered ripped along the inner seam. This was after he had worn them only a few times. I thought he was being rough on the pants until I read the reviews a saw that other parents have reported the same problem. It's a pity as they are his favourite pants.

Size charts are off...
I have never ordered pants here before, so I had to go strictly by the size charts -- according to the chart, my 7 year old needed an 8 husky. When he tried them on, these pants literally fell right down. To. The. Floor. I thought these must be sized wrong, so I had him try on the other 8 pair of pants we ordered in the 8H -- same thing. He clearly would have fit into the regular sizing. Aside from that, pants feel well made, and my son liked the way they felt. Will be trying again in the regular.

My boys' go-to pants
I have two boys and they each have 3 pairs of the ripstop pants in different colours...they love the styling and how easy it is to slip on! I love them because they hide all the dirt and grass stains. However, I have an issue with the fading of these pants even though I take great care to turn them inside out and air dry them,
