Boys' Iron Knee® Elastic Waist Blend Chino Pants
My son did not like
I was hoping these pants would fit my son and he could wear them to school as they meet the guidelines for his school's dress code. Wel, they did fit, but my son did not like the feel of the fabric. He is usually not a picky boy, but he told me he would not wear these unless he absolutely had to. Since the other lands end pants work for him (the ripstops) and he likes those, these got returned.

School Uniform Perfect.
Easy on and off for my child with fine motor control issue. Perfect color, and fit and meet uniform standards. Please don't stop making these pants. Pants wash, and wear very well. Knees stand up to rough playground antics of on the go boys.

These are great pants! My son wasn't happy with any of the other uniform pants I bought him. These didn't bother him around the waste because they're elastic and pull on/off easy! He also really loves the hook in the front and doesn't have to bother with a button.

good overall pair of pants
These pants fit well, the waist is a bit big for my son, but he can wear a belt. (He is ten and needs a twelve most of the time.) He is picky about the feel of his clothes and wishes they were a bit softer material. They came hemmed to the length I specified.

Perfect perfect perfect!!
I have twin 12 year old boys that are husky. Unfortunately, husky pants from the local stores are barely larger in the waist than the regular sizes, and we have been trying for two years to find dressier pants to fit them comfortably. These were perfect and fit the bill. The elastic waist is comfortable for the boys and the pockets don't pull. It is not obvious they have an elastic waist, and there are belt loops for when they need to wear a belt (a uniform requirement of the orchestra they are in). I was able to order the husky size and the custom length. I am sure for non-husky boys they would find these comfortable as well. I didn't have to fight with the boys to try them on or drag them to the tailors. There are no complaints and groans when I tell the boys to put on their dress pants. I will be buying more of these pants as they grow.

Washes and Wears Well
Great uniform pants. My son is hard to fit. He wears a husky. These are great, just a little more roomy in the waist but not too baggy in the seat and legs. They are comfortable, they wash well and he isn't a wrinkled mess when I pick him up at school. Upon asking him after school one day when we got home if he wanted to change into comfy clothes, he said "These ARE comfy!" I will order again as he grows.

Growing too fast!
We've been buying our grandson these pants for years and years. Buy black as required for school and other colors for dress wear, ie church. A thin boy, he loves the elastic waist. I buy unhemmed because our daughter-in-law likes to do that so she can let them down as he grows. And grow he does! Bought the largest size for this school year. What will we do next year??

Big fan of these uniform pants
Have been buying these for 2 boys for a number of years. Have a lot of pluses- Both of my boys have trouble with buttons on waistbands, especially when in a big "hurry" in the restroom, and they just pull them down instead of using button at waist. None of the adjustable tabs that drive one of my sons nuts- full elastic waist that is completely covered by a belt, never worn through at the knees, minimal fading, nice deep pockets for carrying lots of rocks, free hemming. My only wish is being able to hem them shorter than the available length. One boy is on the short side and I used to be able to call and request a shorter inseam than what is offered, but last year was told this was no longer available, which is unfortunate because hemming adds a lot of money to the cost of the pants. Keep making them!!

Iron Knees - Just what I needed
I am a disabled woman who wears a small enough size to be able to wear these pants. I go thru the knees of pants fast, so when I found these and ordered these... they last at least twice as long as women's pants.
I disagree with the person who said they are not elastic all the way around.... they are wrong. Yes , there is a button and zipper, but the elastic is still in the front of the waistband.
