School Uniform Boys' 5-pocket Corduroy Pants
Sizing is poor
I measured my son before I ordered these because I hate returning things. When they came, they are immensely too big. I ordered a 20, which the size chart said would have a waist of 29 1/2. The pants actually measured 32 inches.

My son tried these pants on and his hands as well as mine turned blue from the corduroy dye. I immediately sent them back. For the price- I expect much better. And, something safer for my kids from Lands End. I don't know that I'll order from here again.

Have several pairs of khaki uniform pants, ordered these in the same size. My son could hardly button these, much narrower around the waist and hips, yet way too long. Very disappointed as they are nice pants and we've had luck with them in the past. Very inconsistent sizing on kids clothes this year, have had to return many items. What gives, Land's End?

My son LOVES these cords! He doesn't want to wear anything else even when the weather is warm! He's slim & can wear these w/o a belt or adjusting the waist. It's the perfect length and extremely comfortable. The colors are also great! He really loves the blue (we also bought brown & black). No fading & holding up well in the wash (and the knees).

These cords look very nice and are a nice fit but could be a little thicker.
The cords look great now but I'm not sure how long the knees will last. Maybe they could come with the much loved Iron Knees.

I got several of these cords in several great colors and they fit my 15 year old son very well. He is thin but doesn't like the slim fitted pants that are popular right now so it's difficult to find pants for him that fit well and that he also likes. These were a hit. My only complaint is that the fabric is a little thin.

Nice pants, but beware the button!
I bought these in several colors for my boys, and the fit and quality are very nice. I love that LE offers many of their pants in slim styles. I wish these were iron knee. With three boys, I buy iron knee pants almost exclusively because they wear so great. My biggest gripe, though, is the button! The waist closes with a riveted button and buttonhole--no hidden slider, no snap. My oldest, a third grader, can't get them open on his own. Even *I* had a hard time unbuttoning them! Honestly, I think my boys might just have to wear them unbuttoned because I have bad visions of them needing to go to the bathroom at school but not being able to get their pants down. I am hoping that maybe the buttonhole will soften after a few washings so that they are easier to get on and off?!? I will be keeping most of the pairs that I bought because the colors are nice and the price is great, but I would feel a lot better about the decision if I were confident my kids will actually be able to work the button without my help.

Nice slim-fit pants
My 6-year-old granson is very slim, and these pants fit him well, though I have to turn the hem up a little. He, again, looked forward to his new cords at the beginning of the school year. Last year's pants are still in good condition, but he needed to go up a size.

Great Fit and Feel But Needs Iron Knee Treatment!
My 10 year old has been wearing these as his uniform pants for 3 years now and I would rate them a 5 if Lands End would only incorporate their "Iron Knee" technology into these pants. I have had to exchange many a pair of these pants when the knees have worn thin and ripped far too quickly. But the color, fit, and feel can't be beat (and I have looked everywhere and tried every kind of navy blue corduroy pant out there!). Lands End - please make this change!

Great jeans alternative
Perfect fit, can be casual or dressed up. Room to move without feeling bulky. Color stays true after many washes. If the fabric didn't wear thin in the knees I would rate these a 5.
