Outlasted Even My Son!
My 9year old son ALWAYS wears right through the toes of every pair of shoe I buy him, regardless of how expensive the shoes are. I bought these All Weather Moccasins 7 months ago and they still look fantastic! No blown toes!

Son loves, but poor quality
My son loves these, but I returned the first pair I bought at Sears because the rubber toe bumpers peeled off after only a few weeks of wear. Sent them back to LE because local Sears didn't have in stock, and the second pair (a different color) shipped directly from LE did the exact same thing in fewer than 6 weeks. It's not variance in quality by color (which I have often found w/Lands' End), it's not a difference between Sears-store quality and direct ship, it's just a flaw in the shoe. This time I'm taking a credit for something completely different (maybe some new summer sandals for mom!) Gotta love the LE no hassle guarantee!

love these
My son loves these because now they are his shoes that don't tie. I love the quality of these. I have been buying these for 15 years! Since my girls were little. They also look quite good for dressy occasions too!

Poor Quality
This is a wonderful looking shoe. It is perfect with casual or dress clothes. It is comfortable and easy for my 6 yr old to put on and take off, and it looked great with his school uniform. It would be the perfect shoe IF IT WAS MADE WELL. I have bought and returned this shoe 3 times. Each shoe separated from the rubber sole within 1 month. The shoe was not exposed to water or excessive wear, but the rubber portion of the sole that wrapped around to the top of the shoe became unglued within a month. As much as I love the looks of the shoe, I will have to look elsewhere for a better quality product.

Great Quality & Fit
Bought these on clearance for my 8 year old son who is VERY hard on shoes (skateboarding - drags toe...rough & tumble...etc). These shoes were TERRIFIC. Live in NC, so weather can be iffy and his feet were warm/dry in these shoes. He outgrew them before they gave up - which is a HUGE benefit.
I am sad that I cannot afford to pay full price for these because I would do so again.

They don't make 'em like they used to.
I love Land's End mocs. At lease I used to. The quality has declined incredibly. There is NO arch support! I cannot see putting a developing child's feet in these. They would most likely end up with fallen arches which could lead to knee, and hip problems. And the uppers used to be a much beefier suede. I was very very disappointed in having to return two pairs. I will be looking for a better quality moc elsewhere, even if I have to spend the bucks and go to LL Bean.

What happened to the quality?
I have bought these moccasins for my sons for years. Normally they are indestructible, but this year the rubber has pulled away from both pairs of shoes after only half the school year. They are still good shoes but not great. Very disappointed!

These shoes are made to hang tough!
Form fitting to the foot with the ability to wear thicker socks such as smart wool.

pleasantly surprised
Very relieved when these fit our son. He can take them off and put them on. He has learned to use a shoe horn... a big plus, b/c dad uses one all the time. They are perfect and he loves them.
