Great Looking, Great Fit!
I admired these boots in the catalog, and when they went on sale I grabbed the chance to order a brown pair. They arrived today and I am sooo happy with them. I wear an 11 B, and they are true to size. The foot bed width is fine with a non-bulky sock and the leg snug but not too tight. I ordered the sport cord leggings to wear with the boots and they fit perfectly underneath. I'm 5'-8" tall and the boots come up to the bottom of my knee. I love them!

So close...
LOVE the look of these boots (not wild about the laces but I could adjust), but the calves are too narrow for me and I can't pull them all the way up. The way they're made, I don't think my shoemaker would be able to help. Such a shame, because they're so pretty and SUCH a bargain. Returning a pair in each color.

Narrow and Awesome!
I have narrow feet and have been looking for a pair of knee high boots for years. When I read the reviews on these I decided to go ahead and try them. After a break-in period of about 4 days the brown pair I ordered became my favorite winter shoe and I ordered a second pair in black. I've gotten compliments on the uniqueness of the style and I have been able to easily adjust the calves to make them a little tighter using the ties. Occasionally the ties do come undone but double knotting seems to make them stay tied longer. I am so excited to finally have cute looking boots that fit well instead of boots that flop around on my legs when I walk. If you have narrow feet and thin legs, these are the boots for you.

Finally a boot for me!
After searching for boots to fit me for what seemed forever, I was thrilled to read the reviews of this boot. A boot that runs narrow in the calf!? Could it actually be? Whereas I regret that so many were disappointed with this purchase, I decided to see if the boots actually would fit me. I ordered them in black, tried them on, and they actually seemed to fit on my narrow, thin legs. Yes! I finally found a pair of high, nice looking boots! After wearing them, I do see that they are falling down a bit, perhaps since they are very soft-sided, but hopefully a little planning, (thicker socks?) might help that problem.

Calves are too snug for me!
I saw these boots on one of my students and immediately ordered them at the sale price. Even at full price they aren't too expensive for what they are. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the calf is extremely narrow. I have never needed wide calf boots (and I wear a lot of boots!) but if these came in wide calf, I'd order them.
The question now is to figure out if the calf can be stretched just a little so they will fit the way they're supposed to .
If you have really skinny legs with very narrow calves, these boots won't be a problem for you. As for me, I have to decide if I'm keeping them and hoping the calf stretches out or sending them back.

My daughter is hopping with joy
Very unique. Cannot find anything similar in stores. So unique that other girls are staring at these boots.
Maybe over protective for warm climate. My area is similar to Sanfrancisco and so mid-winter only.
Shoelaces are a bit tricky. I recommend double knots like mountain boots to prevent slipping.
My wife is envy.

very narrow shoe and narrow at calf
I am petite slim yet have big calves and hoped that these boots would fit. I could barely pull up to my knee and certainly not with any pant or thick tights on. Getting my foot into the shoe was not easy either. I have to agree with the other review that also made similar comments. Sadly these were returned.

DOESN'T STAY UP
The brown is a gorgeous color and the boots are very well made - but they don't stay up, no matter how tight I tighten the laces. They make a huge bag at the ankle, which does not look nice at all, especially when you have on a dress or riding pants tucked into them. Wish I would have purchased an all leather riding boot, and not this too-soft of a boot.
