LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!
I wanted a velvet smoking slipper, and when I saw these I knew they were what I was looking for. The styling is just right. The velvet and grosgrain piping make them look opulent (as a smoking slipper should be!). There is just the right amount of cushioning in the insoles (which, I am happy to report, are very breathable). I rated the fit as wide because my feet are wide-ish (between medium and wide), and I am thoroughly happy with the slightly wider cut and fit (if you have slimmer feet, you may not be happy, or you may choose to wear them with a thicker trouser sock). Three cheers to LE, for getting the fit right, for doing an on-trend look, and for making me a very happy LE customer!

I have hardly taken them off since I got them: comfortable, stylish, and I love the monogram!
The fit is true to size, and the footbed is comfortable. The sole is not as flexible as some other flats I have, but I expect it to wear well and it does not slip at the heel on me. I got the slippers in black velvet and was a bit concerned about crushing, but it has not proved a problem, despite frequent wearing. I have worn them with my Starfish black leggings (WOW), with black pants, and with a black skirt. I wish I had room in my closet for a couple more colors.

Luxe-looking and comfortable
What a pretty shoe. I have a pair in the blue. It's on the purplish end of blue, but that's fine. I like the grosgrain trim and the shimmer of the velvet.

No support
The shoe looks very pretty, but it has absolutely no support. The side fabric is very soft; the sole if very thin (1/8"); the "heel" is only 3/8"; the interior "arch support/padded insole" did nothing. They are really more like a bedroom slipper than a shoe, but not as comfortable.The only good news is that I didn't have to pay to return them, just take them to my local Sears store.

Great!!!
Love ballet flats and when all the fashion magazines deemed the "smoking slipper" shoe the new flat I had to have a pair. Looked at a lot of styles available and choose the Vivian because it had all of the features I wanted: velvet, grosgrain ribbon trim and a very low heel. Received the shoes in black yesterday and I am very happy. Very good quality and construction. They look and fit great!
