Just the right weight sweater
I found the sweater to be just the right weight...not to heavy and not too lightweight. I wish there were more color selections. It does stretch out after wearing it a couple of times, but otherwise a nice sweater. I would purchase another if there were more color selections.

Great Sweater, Not sized for taller women
I love this sweater- the cotton & knit is smooth and looks like it will hold up great. I want to order more, but I am hesitating because the fit is not so great. Fits loose but too short.
I am 5'2, weigh 115, 34" bust, so you would think I should wear a small. I have very broad shoulders for a small woman, so I often get a medium if the overall garment length looks shorter, to compensate for how my shoulders pull the entire shirt higher. I got a medium in this sweater, and it is cut so short that even the medium is much shorter than I would like. It really hits me at the belly button, which is far too short. I need to hit at high hip, at least. I know this is a traditional fit, so it is cut shorter, but Land's End really runs big on me, even the small shirts are sometimes baggy, so I am surprised to see the medium sweater so short! The sleeves run shorter, too. (I have long arms, too.) The medium is already pretty baggy, so I can't size up anymore. Please consider make this knit and cotton into a sweater with a more modern fit. The knit and simple design are gorgeous and terrific for a wardrobe staple. I need more! Please make a longer bodied/sleeved version with a more fitted waistline!

A perfect all seasons sweater
I have worn it on it's own in warmer weather and the two I have ( red and burgundy ) look great with jeans with either a cream crewneck T-shirt or turtleneck underneath.

Have always like the Drifter Sweaters. Had several many years ago. Wear it when shopping, going out to eat or going to church.

Excellent fit
This is exactly the shape I was looking for when I bought Land's End's other v-neck sweater. That one disappointed with a very high v-neck and raglan sleeves that were not flattering and became very uncomfortable once washed. This is pure comfort, with set-in sleeves and a normal v-neck, not too high, not too low. At first I thought the material was a little too thin, but I've found it just right for my office, which can get a little warm in the winter. The colors are nice and, best of all for me, the sweater can be machine washed AND tumble dried. I have bought three colors and like them all. My only, minor, complaint is that it is a little clingier than I prefer (but so are most sweaters, I find). I hope that Land's End offers this sweater in more colors in the future.

Nice sweater!
I have a few of these sweaters in different colors.I can wear them with dress pants or with jeans. A t-shirt, blouse or turtleneck can be worn underneath. Love it!

Great casual sweater
Love this sweater. Great for everyday wear with a pair of jeans and boots or sneakers. Normally wear medium to large; ordered medium and it's a perfect fit.

Love it but not the heavier 'Drifter'
I adore this sweater but it is not the heavier drifter sweater with the raglan sleeves - it is a different style. This sweater is lighter and has inset sleeves. It suits me perfectly - I actually wear it as a shirt or with a very light t shirt underneath.
Lands End should make the differences more clear. I ordered one of each v neck drifter and while I like the standard drifter, this is my preference. Lighter but still great material, not as bulky, hits high hip and is a tad slimmer cut but still fits really well. not tight.

great value!
I love the light weight feel of this sweater. It is perfect with either slacks or jeans, depending on what you have to do that day. As always, the quality of Lands End's clothing is superb!

PERFECT FIT
I love this sweater. The fit is great. Finally something that is not cut so small that you have to order 2 sizes
larger. It is not too heavy to wear with a turtleneck underneath and stll be comfortable indoors. It is a great
value for the price.
