didn't even try it on...item not the same as pictured on website
I don't recall not liking anything else I have ordered from Lands End Canvas, so I guess this is a first, for me at least. Specifically, this item is not what is pictured on Lands End's website. Supposed to have a striped lining, but it arrived with a gray solid lining. Yikes, the whole reason I bought it was for the lining...to wear with allegedly-striped-lining-colored jeans. Spoke with a supervisor at LEC, and he said, "sorry, we will change the photo right away." That was about 3 weeks ago, and the photo remains unchanged. So, if you like buying a grab-bag item, this is your chance. By the way, the vague color listed as "weathervane" has a really green cast...with no blue at all. I get--and accept--that their color-naming scheme is subject to interpretation, but there's really no good excuse for mismanaging their photography. When one buys online, the item photo is _kind of_ important. Just sayin'...

Like it, but the color was a surprise
This arrived today and I was surprised at the color. On my monitor it was a blue color which gave the parka an almost preppy vibe. In reality it is a steel gray and feels much more "army" in style than preppy. The fabric has a washed/distressed look.
Quality is good, as with most Canvas product. The rear hem is a ducktail with snaps that can be used to convert it to a straight hem. The waist drawcords are on the interior. The interior seams are piped/finished with striped material.
I am 5'9" and a size 10/12, the medium fit fine and the sleeves are a smidge on the too long side.
