Lands' End Strikes Out
Sorry, Lands' End. You just can't seem to duplicate the great Trekker sneakers from four years ago. Too bad, because my three old pairs of Trekkers are headed for sneaker heaven. Had great hopes, but the new version is too colorful -- loved the khaki color, but shocking pink trim was a turnoff. Also, why, why, why, why did you give us tie-type laces? Why not the elastic laces? I ordered wide, and the fit is snug for a wide shoe. Lastly, my foot caves downward towards the arch side of the shoe. I feel like I'm standing knock-kneed. I really have to replace my old Trekkers, so I guess I'm looking elsewhere, Lands' End. And, oh yeah, I tried the new Trekker closed-toe sandals, too. I would have kept them if the foot bed wasn't two-pieces with sharp transition edges, and if the foot bed hadn't been bumpy. But there again, ditch the colorful trims! It greatly limits wardrobe choices.

Cute but not comfortable
I was very disappointed in these shoes, I've loved all previous shoe purchases from Lands End. There is not enough padding in the sole, and less traction. Colors are good, but I hate the brightly colored laces - especially the hot pink with black. I'm undecided whether to keep them for casual trips around or return them.

Comfort and style!
I wanted very good pair of walking shoes for a vacation to Disneyland where I knew I'd be walking all day long. I already stand all day long as part of my job (hair stylist) and care of my feet has been of the utmost importance lately. I ordered the Women's trekker light shoes in the desert sand color and have been so happy with them! They fit true to size and actually seemed a bit snug at first but once I walked around in them for a bit, I realized that they conformed to my feet really well. I wear a size 8 and they feel to me like a true 8. I've had problems with shoes in the past rubbing at the back of the heel but these worked out just fine (and it's important to wear the right socks, of course). These shoes are also very cute on. I got a few complements!

So glad the Woman's Trekker is back
Happy the woman's Trekker is back this year. Love this shoe, light and airy just what I was looking for. Have bought Trekkers from you in the past and continue to wear them after two years and still get complements on their look. I always tell everyone who asks that I got them at Lands End. This particular Trekker is not quite as wide as the others I've bought in the past but I do like it a lot and would imagine that it will stretch some with use. I currently have the black one and just yesterday ordered the desert khaki. Also, easy to clean, I just pop them into the washer with a similar load and they come out quite nice.. Keep the woman's Trekker coming I will be ordering more... Wear them every day..

Cute!
I ordered this shoe in gray/purple. It's very cute and lightweight, looks great with jeans and yoga pants alike. I ordered the wide width, which fit my wide foot comfortably, with ample toe space, but not oversized or crowded toe as some wide shoes end up. It's true to size, comfortable, average arch support. I would recommend, and may even get another color myself!

Perfect casual shoe....even for a shoe "picky" person!
I had never tried this brand out in any store and I bought them online expecting to probably have to send them back. To my surprise, they were a perfect fit, extremely light and attractive! I have been wearing ECCO, Merrell & Saucony almost exclusively but these caught my eye at a great price so I tried and was quite amazed.

Sent these back
I used to be able to count on Land's End shoes fitting. No more. I bought wide, which always used to fit. No longer. Guess I won't buy my shoes here anymore. The sad thing was I really loved how they looked.
Easy return kept this from being a total disappointment.

Wicked comfortable!
The sporty style of the shoe appealed to me. The positive reviews sealed the deal!
The shoe is extremely comfortable. A heads-up to those who are interested in the "silver frost" color. The laces are more of a lilac color than I was envisioning. The color on the website appears to be closer to periwinkle. Either way, still a pretty color, very comfortable, & functional.

Great shoes! Great value!
These shoes are the perfect weight for walking. I bought them to replace another pair of Lands' End trail shoes. These are even better than my previous pair. The colored laces add color and flair. When I ordered them, I was worried they'd be too flat, but they're just right. There also is plenty of padding, which make these the most comfortable shoes I own! I actually look forward to walking now!
