Not at all what I expected.
I first thought the package contained one girls' mitten, these are so small and thin. Are you sure these aren't mis-catalogued??

Thin but warm for their weight
These are not heavyweight mittens but are quite warm considering the weight. I wear them while running in temps as cold as high 20s, and I tend towards having very cold hands.

Light weight cozy warm comfort.
Yes, these are very thin. That's what I love about them. I prefer mitts to gloves and these keep me warm and still allow me to use my hands and feel things. I just ordered two more colors. They are great for driving and walking and are light enough to stuff into pockets, handbag or glove box. I have very long fingers and have trouble finding gloves that fit. These mittens fit my slender long hands perfectly.

I own Kleenex thicker than these!!.....
These mittens were a HUGE disappointment. First, they were more "girl" sized than "woman" sized. Secondly, they are so thii-i-i-i-i-i-n-n-nnnnnnnnnn. Thin thin thin. Did I say they were thin? If you really don't need a pair of gloves or mitts...these are perfect. I bought them on sale.....and they STILL weren't worth it.

very cozy
These are the warmest mittens , yet they are not bulky. They are very soft and also attractive. Would highly recommend.

great as a second layer!
I love these mittens (and the gloves, too)! Yes, they are lightweight but still warm for those inbetween days that we have so many of out here in California. On colder days I wear them under waterproof mittens and even under my work gloves (which I buy a little big to accommodate the gloves). I am thrilled to have found these. They have been a savior for my arthritic hands. As to fit: I have long thin hands and had no problem with the fit.

Too Lightweight
These mittens fit fine for an average sized woman. But they are so lightweight as to be useless for warmth. I live in Southern California so only need gloves occasionally. However, they are even inadequate for a winter morning here.

Small and lightweight
I have an average sized hand for a woman and usually wear a size 7 glove. These mitts are so small that they don't feel comfortable and so light that they are good only as a liner. As I live in Canada it would cost too much to return them. This is part of an ongoing problem with LE sizing becoming erratic and quality being quite variable.

Perfect mitten.
I have small-ish hands and short fingers and I love the way these mittens fit! They aren't so small though, that (in my opinion) they woulnd't fit average sized hands. They're the perfect weight for driving or running errands. I also wear them to walk the dog and have been pleasantly suprised at how warm and windproof they are even when the wind chill is under 15 degrees. I am buying additional pairs for my daughter and my two sisters right now. Highly recommend!

Too light weight for a northern winter.
I am usually very pleased with all that I buy from LandsEnd, but these gloves are way too light. I can't imagine they would keep my hands warm on a snowy winter's day. They are going back.
