good but big
I ordered 2 though I usually wear 4 for panties, because I carefully read the reviews. They are still not very tight - it's not OK for swimwear. All in all they are cute if you manage to choose the right size for yourself.

great print, great fit
I'm really loving these bottoms. I ordered a few different styles and ended up keeping these and the solid mid rise bikini. The rise on either pair is perfect with a long tankini top or my new favorite henley layer. I had previously believed that my belly made a lower rise a no-go, but this was a perfect compromise of style, comfort, and modesty. I adore the fun polka dot print and the mix and match options it opens up. My only small complaint is that the back gets a little loose-feeling in the water, though upon closer investigation I truly think that's just the feeling and not the appearance.

OK Bottoms to Match a Perfect Top
I have worn these bottoms for three straight days to match the bikini dot top and I am generally satisfied although I agree with earlier reviews that they don't seem to have enough elastic in the back. There is a little gapping but I have not had problems with them riding up. I tend to size up for swimwear but I found these to be true to size. Nice coverage for a "sista butt." I may be getting too old for a bikini but as bathroom breaks increase with age, a bikini is a convenience!

I got these bottoms in three colors. They fit well and a little big, actually.
The quality is fine, not exceptional, but above average. I do not have a flat bottom and they were tapered just right. TK

Doesn't stay in place
I was disappointed with this bottom. The top fits well, so I decided to keep it anyway. The butt is cut a litte narrow for my taste so it tends to ride up. The Regular Beach Living Floral Banded Bikini Bottom fit me much better.

Highly recommended!
I just received these bottoms today. I have a fuller figure--large hips, large thighs, and a relatively large butt. These bottoms fit perfectly and are so comfortable! They just might be the most comfortable bottoms I have EVER had. I recommend them to anyone who is looking in to investing in high-quality bottoms. There are endless possibilities of mixing and matching with the SwimMates line and I am so very excited to make future orders. So looking forward to wearing these around my friend's pool and the cottage--all summer long!
I must also commend Lands End on their customer service and prompt, efficient shipping. Perfect, perfect, perfect
I haven't bought a new bikini set since 2003 ? mostly due to coverage issues I've found with others I've tried on. I'm happy to report this bikini bottom fits true-to-size with adequate coverage on the backside. The rise is perfect for my 5'3" frame, too. I liked it so much I just purchased it in another color.

Size down!
I usually wear a 6 in other bikini styles at Land's End. I should have sized down as suggested by other readers. The waist elastic isn't very snug. I would exchange for a size smaller, but leave for the beach in 3 days, so it will have to work. Hope the ocean or my 5 year old doesn't pull them off! They are really cute in the melon dot!

Thinner fabric and seems to fit a bit larger than most LE's swimwear
These bottoms are beautiful and fun, but they just didn't quite work for me. The fabric is less substantial than other LE's suits, and I can live with that....but the elastic bands are also a little looser and thinner which breaks the deal for me. The waist band doesn't feel like a band at all. It feels like it could just come right off without me even feeling it. And the leg bands and loose enough that a gape is created at the lower back side. I've thought about ordering a smaller size, but I'm a pretty consistent size 12 ans don't want a "tight" fit, just a fitted fit. For those of you who like thinner fabrics and a "comfort waist" type of fit, these would be great. They really are cute- so cute that it hurt a little to send them back. Oh! And coverage is perfect- not too much or too little for my 37 year old, 150lb body.
