Flattering Fit for Curvy Figures
I usually don't buy swimsuits on the Internet, but this one caught my eye. I checked the reviews very, very carefully and found them encouraging, so I decided to risk it. The suit is nice -- the size is accurate, and it provides good coverage and support for the bust. I'm a 40C, so finding a one-piece that fits both top and bottom is a bit of a challenge. I like the thicker straps, very comfortable. And it does seem to make my problem area (tummy) a bit less noticable. Overall, I'm very happy and would recommend it.

Fit is kind of tight and not enough support
Unfortunately this suit did not offer enough support for the girls with the straps being so far off center. It was a shame because the straps are very comfortable, for once, compared to the other suits I bought which had the thinner type that dig into your shoulders. But LE, please remark that those of us needing support have to have straps placed where they actually hold up the girls, not way off to the side! The coral ruby is a very pretty color but it seemed a little bit see through in the bottom part. The body part of it was slenderizing but I also felt like a coral ruby sausage in a casing. So a bit too tight compared to the other suits I tried on from LE in the same size 12. I love the cut and the wrapping on the top - very pretty. Too bad but it didn't work for my body.

Excellent support overall in suit.
Fit is true to size. Quality is excellent. Use several times a week in water aerobics classes and to play water volleyball. I completely forget about suit in these activities as it stays in place.

Great fit and color
Love this suit. I have purchased this style twice before. It slims and looks good on. The fabric seems to be a little different so I'm hoping it holds up as well as the others

A beautiful and very flattering suit
I haven't had a chance to wear this yet but will soon when I take a Caribbean vacation. The fit is true to size.
I got the same suit in the floral pattern offered last year and loved it. The coral ruby color of this one
Was irresistible. As someone who used to only wear black suits (before significant weight loss) these colors
Are a pleasure to wear. My favorite bathing suits are all Lands End.

Highly recommended!
I swim every day, and need suits that hold up to a daily dunk in chlorine. Land's End Slender suits are the only suits I've found that are attractive, long-lasting, and comfortable for lap swimming. I have read other reviews that say the suits don't fit well, but I've never had that problem with any of the one-piece Slender suit styles.

So Close!!!
Oh Land's End - I've been trying on your bathing suits for years - without luck. My main complaint is that all of your suits are designed to accentuate armpit fat. I have to thank another reviewer (Kayla) for mentioning that this suit covers that area up so I decided to try it. And wow! It actually does! But, this still is not a great suit for me because once again, sizing is off. I am 5'7" with my "winter weight" of 144 pounds right now. I am fairly small up top and usually wear small to XS shirts. Downstairs I have fleshy hips and thighs. I ordered a size 10 and it was problematic everywhere but mostly it was not long enough to get the cups up to the correct spot so I returned it for a size 12. The 12 was long enough but the back was just as tight as the 10 and I had "back fat" spill-over behind my arms. This is the biggest problem I have with LE suits fitting me - lots of areas where things are just too tight. I understand the reasoning - no one wants their suit to fall off while swimming but since the actual elastic doesn't grow in the water, I don't see any reason for this straight-jacket approach. I really wish purveyors of swimwear would come up with a new sizing system that includes in-between sizing! As for this suit, I am keeping it in the hopes that I can find a seamstress who can help me alter it. I already cut the bottom in the hopes of making it into a tankini. I WISH you would offer this style in a tankini top because it solves my second fit issue with your suits - the waist on most of them are not fitted enough and flare out like a bell on the too-short hems. This style, with its fitted waist, in a tankini top that comes down to low hip would be perfect!

NOT for the large busted
I rated this suit once and it didn't show up in the reviews. I wonder if it is because I mentioned that customer service was of no help in the sizing of this suit? All the rep said was go with my regular size, even though my measurements were in between. Oh well, on with my review... again. So I ended up ordering different sizes. Here is my result of the sizing: Size up one size in this suit. The Petite was too short even though I am only 5'3". It tugged at my shoulders and was short in the behind. It is very small in the bust, even at the correct size. I am a D cup, and if they offered it I would have to get it in a DD. It totally squashed me. However, it is a well made suit and would look nice on someone with a B cup or smaller.

Love this suit!
Very flattering and fits me well. I am a 40DD and had no problem with this covering the girls. Not only does the shirring disguise the tummy, the girls look good, so that draws the eye upward. Got this in the pink (tired of always wearing black bathing suits) and I'm glad I did. Flattering color.
