Description

Our skinniest fit yet.

  • Velvet cotton with a touch of stretch
  • Sits below the hips
  • Skinny from hip to ankle
  • Tonal tuxedo stripes down the sides
  • Straight waistband
  • Back welt pockets
  • Garment dyed color saturation
  • 30.5″ inseam

Design: Cut from soft velvet with a bit of stretch to hug your body just right. We used a straight waistband to create sharper symmetry. And we shaped the legs to be super skinny, creating a lean silhouette.

Heads up — to keep these pants from painting your entire wardrobe, lock in the color with a quick, cold wash. Then it won’t rub you the wrong way.

Material: 98% cotton, 2% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

Too bad the waist does not contain the bit of stretch I loved the pants as soon as I pulled them out of the bag, and they fit great.....except in the waist. There wasn't any "give" in the waistband at all, and it was just too tight, even though the pants fit great everywhere else. The pants are awesome--dressy enough for an evening out; they would look great with boot, heels or flats. Too bad the waistband did not stretch like the rest of the garment, so I ended up returning them. April 30, 2013
Nice pants but don't expect stretch in the waistband These are very nice quality, even for the full price never mind the sale price, but I had to return them. Unlike most of my jeans/pants with a percent or two of spandex, these don't stretch in the waistband... at all. There must be some sort of stabilizing interlining. Doesn't work for me because I'm bigger in the waist than elsewhere, but the pants are great otherwise. January 23, 2013
perfect for looking good this winter! I just received these pants, sooner than expected given the expected ship date! I have previously ordered size 28 jeans and corduroys from Lands' End Canvas, so I ordered size 6 in these and they fit very well. They are super slim from the waistband to below the knees, but the ankle is more forgiving (see the model photo) -- this makes them much easier to pull on over my feet, unlike some of my other skinny jeans! -- although it may add a tiny bulk if you are planning to stuff them into boots. I ordered these pants in black and they are the color depicted on the website, slightly dusky, not a very dark black. They are stretchy, so the waistband is comfortable, even though it lies across my hipbones (like most pants with a low-ish rise). The front pockets are false, and the back welt pockets are sewn shut (I may leave them this way since I don't plan to carry things in them and they look nice and smooth now). The "tonal tuxedo stripe" is essentially a cotton grosgrain ribbon, which makes the pants look extra-fancy. They feel very soft and plush, like new velvet should. I hope they stay plush (unlike my corduroys from last year, which have no cords left on the seat of the pants). I plan to wear these to work and to holiday parties this season. The only problem with these pants is that the 30.5 inch inseam means they are pretty short (and I am 5'10"), but I am used to my skinny pants looking a little cropped. They'll look good with flats or heels. November 20, 2012
