poor quality and looks bad
I am extremely disappointed in this product. With the liner in, it is poofy and does not hang well. The seams pucker and it just looks SLOPPY

Fits fine--not baggy, and not for pregnant women
Since I am pregnant, I had hoped the reviewer who said that the coat was baggy enough to fit pregnant women was right. However, the coat seems to fit just fine, without room for growth for pregnancy. I recommend it without hesitation to all the non-pregnant ladies out there, but women looking for maternity fits should not buy this item. I also did NOT experience the Inspector Gadget effect mentioned by two of the reviewers. I ordered the black color, and with the lining, it will make a nice coat for chilly fall days. The only reason I did not give it 5 sailboats is because it does not come with a hood, which would be nice for a raincoat.

Not feminine shape
I am a petite person and wear size 4-6, and it's impossible to find a spring coat that does not look military. So I liked the way this coat looked in the picture with no belt, etc. And I liked that it has a removable lining, so it could be worn in different weather. Because I am not slender/slim, I ordered small and medium, afraid small might not fit well across the chest. However, once I tried size small I felt like I was wearing a parachute. The coat does not narrow at the waist, and gets more baggy from the waist down. The length, the arms, shoulders, everything was fitting fine. But the overall look was ridiculous. I looked pregnant. In fact it would probably be perfect for a pregnant woman, cuz there is a lot of room around the waist. I could of used this coat when I was pregnant.

Can see textured quilted lining through outer sell of coat
This coat didn't look right because I could see the texture of the quilted pattern of the inner lining showing through the outer shell. It made the coat look cheap and lumpy. The lining also made the coat more boxy looking. I returned it.

Not very femine as shown in picture
I was really looking forward to receiving this coat as the price was really right and it looked like a great fit in the picture. But when I received it, the coat was very boxy, unshapely and unflattering. Also, I'm 5'7" and the sleeves were way too short. Someone else in the reviews mentioned they looked like Inspector Gadget...that's exactly how I felt in this coat! I now vow to only purchase a coat where I can try it on before I buy it. Now I have to ship this back and it'll cost me $$$. Not worth the trouble!

Just right!
I found that I needed a coat that could handle cool, but not freezing temperatures. The jacket I'd worn for many years was irreparable, so I decided to shop Lands' End. I purchased this coat specifically because it has a zip-out lining. The warmth rating provided by Lands' End was quite helpful in assisting me to meet my needs. I've worn it a couple of times now and am enjoying the coat a good bit. My fashionista teenaged daughter has even given her approval of the coat (she hated how it looks online but likes how it looks on me!). The features of this coat, including the interior pockets are a welcome plus. It's one of the reasons that I like to purchase my family's outerwear from Lands' End.
Keep up the good work!

Third Time is the Charm!
This is the third LE coat I've tried and it's the charm and a keeper! I have always had rain coats with removable liners but they are very hard to find these days so that was the main reason for trying this coat. I live in CA and cannot use heavy coats. The coat will get a lot of use and I look forward to wearing it. Glad there was a black one in my size as that can be dressed up. The only negative is the sleeves are a bit long but I can roll them up or maybe have them shortened. This is a good buy since it was on sale!

Love this coat!!
I am so pleased with this. I have been looking for a dressier coat to wear to work and to cover more than one season as I don't have room to store multiple coats. With the zip out liner, this coat is warm enough to get me through our chilly upstate NY Spring and Fall weather. Without the liner, it will be perfect for summer, coupled with the fact that it's waterproof -- now I can ditch my other raincoat that is sticky and hot to wear in summer. And the quality is awesome - many details you don't find in other brands. And finally - a true navy color that really is navy blue! I am so happy I ordered this!!!

nice quality, meh style
Beautiful quality I expect from lands end, but the style didn't work for me. My spouse called it an Inspector Gadget coat. Maybe it would be better with a belt. Shame, the lining was excellent.
