Description

Sleek, not skinny.

  • Soft cotton jersey with stretch for comfort
  • Fabric is substantial — minimizes lumps and bumps
  • Easy pull-on styling
  • Wide elastic waistband lies flat and smooth
  • Offset side pockets
  • Inseams: Regular and Plus, 28 1/2″; Petite, 26″

Leggings can be so comfortable, but not everyone is at ease with a fit that close. These pants are tapered, but not as skinny as leggings. And they have pockets! (We know you love that.) The ankle length style is versatile enough to wear year-round. 89% cotton/11% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

very bad it does not hold up !! the band is good put slips down and i wore it over my underwear . very uncomfortable gave them back seems all of these styles are not made right around the top i am a size 8-10 P 5"4 ordered several of these types and all went back. i want to wear them with a short style dress or top l.E. NEEDS TO GET THEM FROM ANOTHER BRAND>?. April 6, 2013
I should have listened to the reviews I really should have heeded the advice of previous reviewers on these pants, and not ordered them. While the fabric is quite nice, the cut is all wrong! The crotch fabric does weird, unattractive things, and the pockets stick out, no matter how I tried to arrange the pants. The last thing my hips need is MORE width! Unfortunately, these are going back to the store. March 26, 2013
Great pants when the size is right Once I got the sizing figured out, I bought a bunch of these Starfish Tapered Ankle Pants in different colors. Love the gray best of all. The brown is very nice and goes with a lot of my other tunic tops. Love that these pants have pockets and the wide elastic at my waistline is very comfortable. In my normal woven cotton pants from Land's End, I do wear a petite to get the rise correct and 29 inch length. In these, I ordered regular length and a Large - (one size smaller than my usual XL and they fit just right) Out of seven pair, I just got one pair that was labeled regular - large and it definitely was a petite-large. Compared them to my pair that fit just right and they were a good two inches shorter in the rise and two inches shorter in length. They will have to be returned. Lately, I have received several items on my orders that are mislabeled for size, wrong size shoes in the box, etc. The manufacturers are guilty for all the mislabeling and it ends up costing everyone for the extra return shipping fees. Be careful with your dryer for these pants, as too warm will shrink this knit. I plan to dry mine on the rack from now on to keep the length right. I do wear long shirts and tunic length tops to cover the pockets. March 12, 2013
unflattering! These pants looked terrible on me. They made my hips look huge and the pant legs were too baggy. The look was sort of harem pantesque with a drop crotch and all. Not pretty. The up side is that they were made of a nice thick material and seemed comfortable. February 26, 2013
Very unflattering These are a lot more like a pair of yoga pants than a pair of leggings. They were very unflattering on me and I had to return them. The biggest problem was the crotch - no matter how high or low I moved the waistband, the crotch looked weird. If I pulled the waistband up, the crotch was too tight and gave me a weird camel toe. If I pushed the waistband down, there was weird bulging in the crotch and the pockets protruded. I could not find a happy medium. I don't think the size was the problem - the butt and legs fit snuggly but not tight and I ordered the petite version. February 15, 2013
