I Love These Pants
I just received the slim leg pants in Black. I am a size medium and that is what I ordered. I was not sure what to expect as this is my first time trying these pants. I love them, they fit beautifully. I wanted slim leg pants that are slim but not a legging and that is just what I received. They are slim enough to tuck into boots and will look great with tunics and cute flats. I will definitely be picking up another pair in the Gray. If you are on the fence give them a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

TOO SHORT! :-(
I absolutely loved everything about these pants when they arrived... This was the first time I ordered them and I had ordered three different colors. I loved the look, feel, and basic fit of the pants, but I had to return them all. They were just what I was looking for, but they were SO SHORT! I am only 5'8", but they hit me about 1/2" above the ankle, even though the pants sat right on my hip, below the natural waist. I checked to make sure they weren't petites, then I measured the inseam. It was exactly 30" as advertised. Wish they would make them longer, because they would certainly be my "go-to" pants for many occasions. That would gain them a 5 star+ rating!

I LOVE these pants!
I wear these to work and am always comfortable and feel good in that the pants flatter my figure. I DO wish they came in more colors, though. Forest green, a true brown, a lighter blue, red. I'd buy almost any color. I would have to have at least one of each!

Too short, odd fit!
Unfortunately, these were really short on me. I wore them just a little above the hips but they were falling above 5 inches above my ankles. I'm by no means tall, either, at 5'3".
They are also really wide in the hips - the material flares out even if I wear them a little higher (which makes them even shorter, kind of like long capris!) A real pity, as these feel rather comfortable on, but the fit just isn't right.

The Best Everyday Pants
These are great pants at a great price. After receiving the navy, I loved them so much I now own the grey and black. How about some white??? Had to return my normal size and buy down, but who complains about that! Perfect fit, no bagging at knees, and I like the straight bottom, rather than the tight ankle fit. Material is substantial and holds everything nice and tight. Great for work, or play. Kudos Lands End!

Nice feel but just a little roomy and too short
I liked the feel of this material but unfortunately I found the pants too short and just a little roomy in the hip. I'm unable to exchange as this was the smallest size possible. I sure would like Lands End to come out with slim tall pants for women.

The jury is still out on whether these run short in rise and length
I have a pair of the regular Starfish pants in my usual size of Petite XS. For fit comments as context, I'm 5'4" tall and 107 lb. I like where those Starfish pants sit on my waist, I'd call them mid to high rise, I like the length, I like the fabric and I like the well made wide waistband. I have always wished they were a bit trimmer in the leg. So I ordered these Starfish slim leg pants in Petite XS. I knew they would have a shorter inseam than the regular pants, but these seem much too short given my expectations for how they would fit given the product photos. I like the fabric OK, but it seems thinner than the regular Starfish. And these sit below my naval by quite a bit, so I'd call them mid to low rise. I was expecting a fit more like the regular Starfish but with skinner legs. I also found that the fit varied by color for this pant. I ordered one in black and one in charcoal gray. The black ones fit substantially better and just looked better. The gray ones looked, in my husband's proclamation, "cheaply constructed". So the gray go back for sure. And I've ordered the black pair again in a Regular XS to see if that might be a better length and rise for me in this particular pant. If so it would be the only time I've worn other than Petite inseam in Lands End products. And given my consistently Petite pant for fit, if the Regular in these fits me better, then I'd say they run short in the rise and length in Petite sizes. .

not for short heavyset ladies
Sadly, these were returned. I was hoping that these pants would be an okay fit for short ladies who are slightly heavy...not so! I like the heft and weight of the "starfish" fabric, but the cut is just to close for me. Short ladies don't look good in the wide bottom pants...so the next option is "slim", but that didn't work either! Can't seem to find the middle road!

not my first purchase
I had already bought some of the "starfish" line, so I knew exactly what I was getting and I was completely pleased with it. However, the first time I bought something from this line, I was surprised that the fabric seemed to be more like simple double knit polyester than cotton. I liked the way it felt and the way it wore. Like double knit polyester, it doesn't shrink, nor does it fade. So, I bought some more of it. I haven't worn them in the heat of a Texas summer yet, but soon I'll know how it does in that weather. Right now (spring in Texas) they feel light weight and comfortable. The fit is perfect and these pants are just right to wear for errands, to a casual restaurant, or a movie. I like them a lot. ( note: I don't appreciate that, for purposes of reviews, you see all people over the age of 65 in one big lump.)

Great fitting pant but they fade
I really like these pants. They are comfortable, true to size and you can dress them up and down. The only problem is they fade too quickly, even after one washing - and I washed them inside out. If there was some way to make sure they didn't fade, these pants would be perfect.
