Leggings can be so comfortable. But some are just too flimsy — showing every lump and bump. And don't get us started on that spandex sheen some have! Ours are more substantial and have a smooth, wide, elastic waistband. So they smooth your shape and never look cheap. 89% cotton/11% spandex. Machine wash. Imported.

Very nice leggings Very comfortable and not real thin like alot of leggings are. I would definetly recommend these I just wish i could have gotten them in different colors. June 4, 2013
wonderful, not too tight leggings I like these leggings because they are comfortable to work in. They do not appear as tights. They are a little heavier that most leggings but the cotton keeps them comfortable. They do have a thick waistband which makes them between stretchpants and leggings. I bought several pairs and I love them. I don't put them in the dryer and after several washings they are still like new. May 29, 2013
A legging convert! I was always afraid to wear leggings, they seemed to lean and young for this mom of five. But Lands End has made me a believer. I now own three pairs of their leggings and can't get enough of them. Fit great, nice wide waist band to keep from sliding around and I love the fabric, it's substantial, I don't feel like I am wearing tights. I am a large 8 or small 10. 5'6", 143 relatively athletic build except my waist because of 5 pregnancies. Order the sm 6-8. The larger 10 went baggy on me. These are what i call mommy friendly. Great Legging I wear leggings whenever I travel. Just more comfy and keep my legs warm in air conditioned airplanes. These leggings are made of substantial material, no worries about see throughs. They hold their shape and wash up inside out like new. I am under 5 ft and the medium petite fit me perfectly. Thank you LE for carrying petite sizes. I have saved a fortune in hemming since I started buying your petite clothing. Bravo! May 28, 2013
Color and fit were okay... The color (purple) and the fit (large) were okay, but there was a hole in the crotch after one wearing. It's kind of a bummer because you can tell that the quality should be there...the weight of the fabric, etc. but it just isn't quite. May 28, 2013
Quality and fit are great. I'm 5' 10" and was worried that size medium leggings would be too short for my long legs. Only the size large came in a tall, but I knew from a past purchase that they would be too big. I took a chance on the medium and am glad I did - they are plenty long enough. May 28, 2013
Comfortable & substantial I love these leggings - the waistband is wide and flat and very comfortable, and gives a nice smooth look under clothes. I prefer a waistband that isn't too tight or I end up with lumps and bumps above and below the elastic! I do not have any problem with them falling down as some reviewers have... perhaps because I am curvy, I find the stretch in the overall fabric and the shaping around the hips keeps them up as much as the waistband. If you have very straight or narrow hips, these may not work for you for that reason - or you may have to down-size. The knit is substantial and I don't get baggy knees even after sleeping in these two nights in a row. Very nice!! May 13, 2013
Flattering! I do love these leggings. Weight of fabric is perfect and they are flattering. Only unfortunate thing is that the waist is too big. Needs to be more snug fitting at the waist. May 11, 2013
would be perfect if waist not too big I am 5'4" & sorta average skinny. I ordered xs. The waist is so much too big. It sticks out once I get it pulled up to my waist. After a while it slides down to my hips where it lies flat; but from there the whole garment starts to sag. Can't LA make an xxs? I've already had to size down from a small. I would really like to have the waist fit snug at the waist not at the hips. Otherwise, the fabric is great & by ordering regular, I can get them long enough to suit me. May 6, 2013
Great fabric, poor stitching quality I purchased these leggings, along with the cropped length, to wear during flights on a multi-segment trip. They are extremely comfortable, and the fabric is thick enough to hide undergarments. However, after putting them on for the second time and adjusting the waistband (by pulling up gently on the waistband so it sat more comfortably) the stitching on the front of the crotch area ripped. I thought it was a fluke, but it happened with the cropped pair as well... I did not put the leggings on only using the waistband, and I find it absurd that leggings cannot handle being adjusted via pressure on the waistband. Alas, I love them and they fit well (perhaps even a bit big, I should have gotten the XS), so I'll repare the ripped seams on both pair myself. Be gentle with these! LE: perhaps you can reinforce the stitching in this critical area on your next run? May 5, 2013
