Everyone who sees this Stanton boot agrees: it’s our sleekest leather boot ever. But what is it, exactly, that makes it so striking? In total, it’s three things. 1. Great design: notice the elegantly tall shaft, the sculpted heel cup and stylish toe shape. 2. Fine leather: the upper and shaft are soft nappa leather with a silky feel and natural look so each pair is a bit distinct from another. Leather doesn’t get much better than this. 3. Expert craftsmanship: a close look reveals our bootmakers use rare turned-and-stitched seams. It takes formidable skill to do this, and it’s only one example of what their gifted hands are capable of. Imported.

Nice boot After falling in love with the Blakely boot, I decided to give another Lands' End pair a go. These are really pretty - the leather is crisp and the contrasting heal is nice, too. I know you can tell from the photo but these boots don't have a zipper. By default, that means there is more fabric around the ankle so that you can get your foot in. Anyway, the ankle is slouchier than I would have liked. Skip them and buy the Blakely in every color. December 8, 2012
Not for wide feet and calves I have wide feet and wide calves. The boot rubbed against a left bunion. October 14, 2012
These boots are striking! Beautiful, good fit, modern design. I have wider calves and these fit without being too tight. However, they're a little too tall for my 5'4 self. (The smaller proportioned Emory boots are the ones I'm going to go with because they fit my petite frame better.) September 24, 2012
Sole is puny. I went to a Sears store to try these boots on and I was so disappointed to find they have a really thin sole. I am seriously disappointed. At this price point, I think the sole should be more substantial. And it is not a real stacked heel, it is also not leather wrapped - unless the leather is printed to look like a stacked heel. Frankly, these do not look like they should be priced as they are. September 8, 2012
Gorgeous boot I have never purchased shoes or boots from Lands End before. But I was in a store and fortunately decided to try this boot on. Had I seen it online I wouldn't have looked twice--the photo on the model does not do it justice. Fits true to size. I am a size 7, purchased size 7. Tried on with both peds and a gym sock, comfortable either way. Beautiful in brown, soft leather, plenty of room in the calf, and I like that it has no zipper--makes it look so expensive and elegant (I hate cheap plastic zippers!). Will be able to dress up/ down. Stacked heel makes it comfortable despite the heel height. Got boots on 25% off sale, a great value for such nice quality. Can't wait for fall! September 4, 2012
