Great coverage but needs a drawstring
These were a great swim-short choice for coverage on the beach given that the material is light and the aqua colour so fun. The leg width is great for letting some air in without looking billowy, and the inside "bikini" is snug enough to keep the shorts on without being noticeable (a previous reviewer had said the bikini formed a noticeable line in the shorts but I didn't notice that at all, so I'm going to chalk up our different experiences to different body shapes). The down-side was that they *do* fit loosely around the waist (hence my mentioning the nicely snug interior swimsuit) - which isn't good once the shorts are wet and get "weighed down". Yes, indeed, a drawstring would be really handy. My belly is, by no means, flat, but a drawstring would still be nice for holding these shorts up so I'm not constantly tugging at them when they're wet. Otherwise, the interior pocket is perfect for holding a debit card and a hotel room "key" card while in the water, and the exterior pockets roomy enough for keys and a small change purse or lip gloss. For me, most likely lip gloss. ;-)

Great coverage!
I love the length of the shorts and the material. They are great when you don't have the greatest legs and don't want to wear short shorts or one of the skirts they call coverage. I do wish they were a bit tighter around the bottom of the shorts. They are so wide they actually made me look bigger than I am. Also, the underwear inside is tight and you can kind of tell that when looking at the shorts when they are on. You see an indent where they are. They also come up very high, which in my case with a belly I want to hide, it's a good thing. The back of them under the waist band kind of bunches too. It's too loose. Overall I would say if you are looking for a longer swim short they are good. A few little adjustments and they would be perfect!

Great Choice
This is perfect for what I ordered it for. I have pool for the grand kids in my back yard. I love these swim shorts because I am comfortable wearing them around the yard, and can hop in the pool quickly if needed too. The waist is a bit large, and I have a little issue with them sliding down a bit, but overall I am very satisfied with the quality and fit.

Swim shorts were comfortable and worked well for swimming in the ocean and hanging out on the beach.
The color is vivid and true to the catalog color. The fit was just a little tighter across the hips even though I had measured carefully, but fit great in the waist and legs. I loved the length of the legs.. They were comfortable to wear and worked well for swimming in the ocean and hanging out on the beach. The only complaint was that the crotch stayed wet a long time and the fabric dripped water longer than I would have liked - so they didn't dry as quickly as I would have liked. . but still were comfortable and seem to be a good quality.

Not flattering to "apple" shaped bodies
I carry my weight around the middle and these just didn't work for me.....made the booty look flat and scrunched up in the crotch. Ordered the size 12... They fit but rather awkwardly.

great for the pool or the lake
I have been looking for some "board shorts" that can get wet or just use as a cover-up. The length was a little long for my liking so I had them hemmed about 2 inches. The other swim shorts are great as a swim suit but too short for other activities. This Fit is good - initially feels a little snug in the hips due to the inside panty but seems to loosen after the first wear. True to size. I wear a size 10 pants and that is what I ordered. I will spend a lot of time at the lake and by the pool at swim meets, so this is perfect! Quality appears to be very good!

Best swim shorts ever!!
I always wear board shorts swimming and have done for a long time. These are the best ones I have ever owned. They fit perfectly and I love that there is a liner so I don't have to wear binkini bottoms with them. Love THEM!!
