love this dress
I purchased this in red and am going to purchase in the purple floral print as well. I am 5'4", size 8, and pear-shaped with a defined waist and small bust and this dress works perfectly for my figure type. I noticed in other reviews that similar comments emerged.(Lands End, how helpful it would be to have a guide regarding which body type a dress works best for). if you are more apple shaped or large busted this is probably not the dress for you. There is a slip underneath in the same color as the dress. i like that instead of being sewn to the dress at the shoulders there are little threads with snaps that allow you to remove the slip from the dress. it is simple to reattach the slip at the shoulders when you put on the dress and it stays in place, unlike other dresses where i had to snip the thead holding the underslip in order to get both pieces on. This dress is one of my year-round favorites.

Beautiful Dress!
I purchased this dress on sale....what a great buy! The dress is beautiful and perfect for summer. I can't wait for the weather to turn nice to wear it. Fit is true to size/ length falls just above knee, I am 5'7", full busted. Ruffles help to de-emphasize bust. Very flattering.

Awkward fit, not attractive in 18W!
I ordered this in an 18W, and it is a very awkwardly made dress. The seams are not even, the dress to extremely thin, and the fit is very, very droopy and bag-like. I was extremely disappointed in this dress, and I definitely do not recommend it to plus-sized women.

Odd Fit
This dress was too full on the sides. It made my waist look much fuller than it is. It was not flattering. I returned it.

It went back.
I'm 5'8" and this dress hit several inches above my knees. Not a good look for this size 22/24.
Otherwise, I thought it was super cute, and shorter ladies might rock it. The green was much darker, and nicer than it looked in the photo on the site.

Fabric is nice, fit not so much
I'm 5'3" 125lbs and ordered a 2 regular. I'd read what the other review said, but I'm small and have a pretty traditional hourglass figure, so I thought the higher waist would be okay. I was wrong about that. One thing I was worried about was that the neck might be too low, but it was perfectly fine and could have been even lower. I think the thing to do might be to size up 1 or 2 sizes, allowing the chest to be too big so the waist will hang lower. I returned the size 2 and am not sure yet if I'll reorder or not. The fabric is very nice.

Not for the short-waisted or busty
I'm 5'5 and a 40DD. Usually I have good luck with dresses, but this one was just not fitted in the right places. I bought another one just like it, in a floral purple print. Both fit very un-flattering-ly. They are elastic at the waist, to create a waist for you, but the dress has a slip inside that is separate. Overall, its just uncomfortable and all day i felt like i was having to shift the dress around. I also had to wear a cardigan with it to create a silhouette, because although it does pucker at the waist, the rest of the chest is too loose. Just not flattering.

Beautiful dress, fits great (Petite 2)
I am a petite 5', 110 lbs, 32c bra size, and I normally find department store petite sizes too large, but this dress fits me perfectly...Bought the green & blue colour, at the discounted price which can't be beat! Length & measurements are great, and I am looking forward to wearing it for a summer wedding.

slip seam shows through back of dress, looks weird!
This dress would have been perfect if not for the bulky slip seam. It shows through the back of the dress. My husband said it looked like I had an exposed, elongated spinal cord. Going to have to return it...
